When I was growing up in Jamaica, beetroot and carrot juice used to b a staple with our Sunday meal..I still drink it now I do beetroot, celery and pineapple or carrot, a few lemons with ginger and a spoon of brown sugar

I belended beetroot, pumpkin, tomato and a bit of ginger with water. Kept the pulp for fibre too. Goes down well and looks awesome!

Dont remove the tops or tails. Juice it all.

I use a Ninja Extractor to retain the fiber, 1/2 peeled beet root, 1 carrot, 1/2 apple and 1/2 banana...not bad at all....

I'm going to juice some beetroot and mix it with pear, will that cause a chemical reaction as the enzymes in beetroots are toxic when combined with pear seeds.

the right way is to put beet juice in the refrigerator for 20 minutes and only then drink it by combining it with apple juice and celery

Do not juice greens and maybe stems. The beetroot has more than 10 fold higher concentration of inorganic nitrate than that in the greens. After juicing, mix with 30% of lemon juice, the taste will be awesome.

No in this case you just juice them raw. You can roast them first for an hour, peel them and then mix the puree with apple juice and ice for a tasty summer drink.

Good vid but i prefer to blend than juice cause you get the fiber with it. Also your juicer didnt yield much juice considering you used quite a few beets.

I used to be a master beetroot chef... but then i took an arrow to the knee...

I don't like the fast juicers, it oxygenates the juice too much, i believe they should be juiced through a slow masticating juicer, it does a much better job and gives you a deeper richer juice

The machine has large capacity shaft you could put 3 beets in there at a time

you can also add 1 inch piece of ginger to make it tastier :)

Just make sure you don't drink pure beet juice. It shouldn't be any more than 50 of the content you are drinking. You can dilute it 50/50 with water and drink it straight if you want, but not by itself. It's potent stuff.
