I don't now if anyone has mention this or if it's in the video, but you can put the optical drill into a supercharged slot which gets you 88% resourced mined instead of 50%. With it, I get 9634 and without it in the same curious deposit I get 8003.
and you can search for them on a storm radiation planete for the bonus of harvesting. Little precision, 500u is enough for the respawn, i've made a 4 teleport for go far, and back to my deposit (far for 500u) in less than 8s with this :). Anyway, thanks a LOT HeRo2u, i've watch a lot of your video and this help me ! Have fun !
I found a new CD collection area tonight just randomly. It has about 14 in it, 3 are on top of each other so look one disfigured ball. I put a base and portal at it and fenced it off for easy farming. The other thing is that right next to it is also a large base that has probably 10 or more larvae eggs spawn as well so you can kill 2 birds with one stone if you want. I will use the same code as McH did for the system code.....3,1,5,10,1,1,1,16,12,7,16,7...It is in Euclid. The base name is Kodo CD Farm. Hope it helps someone.
Curious Deposits aren't found on all planets as the 3 star symbol indicates Sac Venom on some of them. I got one of the Experimental rifles you posted about and used S-class mods to boost it and now get about 700 RM from each ball and found a site with 20 balls. Another way to get them to respawn is to use a Save Point and then reload the Restore.
restore point one is so much easier . u are right . well done on that great tip. btw tmr u might want new multitools . i have 3 crazy max stats multitool coming . experimental and royal and alien . i am editing video rn
Portal address for 21 CDs and 13 CDs curious deposit locations on same planet. Once there, teleport to bases named CD 21 and/or CD 13. Address, 1 = first glyph, 8 = eighth/last on top row then 9 = first in second row, etc. 2,2,7,7,16,16,5,13,12,6,3,7 in Euclid Galaxy. Edit, typo in address.
@@ABQsalsero That's the correct planet. I've just gone online and uploaded the bases and discoveries, maybe that was the issue. If so, oops, sorry about that. There should be a teleporter next to the portal. Base locations are CD 21 : -42.68, -0.73 CD 13 : -42.54, -0.43, i've added communication stations as well.
I recommend looking for Curious Deposits on a Planet with a very low atmosphere and on a dead cold planet. If you have upgraded your Jetpack good enough and have the auto recharge while using your jetpack you can fly forever and find the CD fast. Once you have found the CD I recommend building a path that goes a few hundred metres out. Once you have harvested the CD you fly that path down with your jetback and come back. The CD will respawn
When farming runaway mould, You can get a 35% increase in yield by placing your mining beam in a supercharged slot. You can get a 35% increase in yield by placing your optical drill in a supercharged slot. You can get a 75% increase in yield by placing both your mining beam and optical drill in supercharged slots (if adjacent). I experimented with a 32-ball mould farm: nothing supercharged: 21,260 only optical drill supercharged: 28,537 only mining laser supercharged: 28,653 both supercharged: 37,191 For fastest mining, use an S-class pistol-type multitool and install some upgrade modules that improve mining speed (and place two of them in supercharged slots as well).
The best way to get nanites is to go to outlaw stations and buy the suspicious arms and tech packets, then you sell the technology for 300-600 nanites each. You can get thousands of nanites in 10-15 minutes.
During my Play-through I stumbled on a planet that had over 15 curious deposits in a group. I build basic refiners in the base I put down, but need to instead put down a bunch of medium refiners.
Know what's weird HeRo2u? Remember earlier I was telling you bout my multi tool being deleted? In place of my multi tool in the settings area (where you can swap multi tools) was a picture of a curious deposit but pink 🤷🤷 didn't know what it was or whats going on with that.. never even knew about or what curious deposites was until this video now...sooooo weird.. anyways, thanks for all the help!!
Dont forget if you find a planet with severe radioactive storms you can double what you mine plus the 50% extra resources goes to 80% on supercharged slot meaning you can pick up over 2k runaway mould from one single deposit. Or with pirate systems now just buy the suspicious packets ( tech and arms ) and sell the modules for nanites i warp betwen 4 stations made 30k nanites in 10 minutes but you do need units for that
Be sure to place your mining beam in a supercharged slot as well, and not just the optical drill. Putting either one in a supercharged slot increases yield by 35% but having both supercharged increases yield by 75%.
Good guide. Like Mike Richards mentioned, Save point is probably the fastest way to respawn Curious Deposits. One more thing though.. if you are on a challenging Permadeath or Survival game with all settings on maxed out difficulty.. you can only drop 150 items in a refiner. I wouldn't recoomend this method when playing that way (which I am doing myself atm). Far better to farm sentinels in that case.
@@jasonwold9596 dark souls SL1? I had to look up what it is, so nope.. I don't run it. And yep, get used to broken tech and running when needed but if you succeed in building a base to farm sentinels it can be done. Just never... look at video's where a player recharges their shield when it's at less then 10%. I recharge on Permadeath when it's 50% or so. Reload very very often and it will become usual. And yep, I run Permadeath on maximum difficulty settings.
when u play in survival the maximum stacksize is rather low and with that the method with runaway mould is very time consuming. i can only put a stack of 250 in one refiner. and i need to wait until that one is finished until i can put another stack of 250 in it. nut very efficient in my opinion. my question is: are there any alternatives? the best one so far for me is farming sentinels for the salvage glass or buying ships and selling them again.
update: i found a method that is far better and faster, but u have to play active for that. i saw in another video that u can by the mysterious crates(tech/arms) from outlaw stations, open them and sell the upgrades für nanites. if u have quite some money thats the easyest way to farm nanites. and for the money. i also found a good method. not with big acitve indium farms or something. just destroy merchant fleets in outlaw systems. sentinels dont attack u if u fight in outlaw systems and the self defence turrets of the freigters are easy. and then u jump in a normal system and sell everything there. with two complete destroyed fleets i get around 150-200 million and it takes.....30 min? maybe even less.
I just duplicate S class upgrade modules and sell them in bulk from a fully upgraded haller. I use the portable refiner method. This is the easiest way for me but I’m sure there’s others. You get around 450,000-630,000 nanites depending on the economy. Personal I’ve found that korvex systems with highly technologically driven economies sell for the most. I hope this helps I definitely did for me 👍.
@@weedtalk87 I’m sure there’s a tutorial on RU-vid on how to duplicate with a portable refiner. But just in case have at least two portable refiners. You can use more than two I personally have used at least 30 at once. But just start with two. Place one on a flat surface and then place the second one directly in the same place they should be damn near in the exact same place. The portable refiner has a kind of blue laser that comes from the top. Just line the two up and that will be good. After you place the first one down tho make sure you put what ever you want to duplicate from any of your inventory’s in the first one then you can just keep placing portable refiners. After your done just pick up the portable refiners through the base building screen.
Aye friend! I got a question about freighter expeditions.. How do you get longer and higher rating expeditions? I currently only get 1-2 star ratings with max 6hrs
гораздо проще найти систему, где первым кораблем прилетает S class экзотичный, разбирать его и продавать модули, мне кажется так быстрее, стразу после перезагружаться и снова и снова
I have 2 great deposits on the same planet. One has 13 CDs and the other has 21. I portal between them, so I can pick up enough mould for 10s of thousands of nanites very quickly.
@@hero2u1 Funny thing, I wasn't even looking for CDs when I stumbled on the 21 deposit by accident. 😁It didn't take long to find the other one either, it's less than 600u away. I'll find a portal in the system so I can give you the address.
@@hero2u1 Ah ok thanks for letting me know I got to get to grinding them nanites ( or at least try to) in the new update there is a ship that I wanna get but it's 1,400 nanites I think.

hi, i've been following you since i just started playing no man's sky again, i wanted to tell you that i really liked the video but i'm having problems when i refine the mold to create the nanites, the nanites when i put them in the exotsuit they disappear; I wanted to ask if this farm has been nerfed, thanks for the possible answer.
@@hero2u1 update: i tried deleting the refiners and putting them back and it doesn't work, i tried to go to another planet in another player's farm using his refiners and it doesn't work, i don't know what to say it's weird
When u put the nanites to your exosuit, it’ll be added nanites account. Once i saw nothing was changed in my exosuit, i checked the nanites account whenever i refined the molds. That was what i figured.
the best way is to refine tainted metal let the refiner go to max stack of 4095 nanites then over laya new refiner over the first one so 20 refiners means 20 times 4095 nanites
i found very easy way to make tons of nanites without farming or anything like that.... it require spending few millions of units but i'm guessing if you are at that stage in game where you need tons of nanites money isn't problem anymore.... what i do is i teleport to outlaw station, there you buy suspicious package arms, then i teleport to another outlaw station and do the same... after i do that 5-6 times or so, i spend few millions of units but then i turn all that into blueprints and after i sell them i got at least 10 000 nanites or more... and all that takes only few minutes...
@@hero2u1 like, right now, i needed nanites to upgrade my pilots... so i made run and in less than 10 minutes i had almost 40 000 nanites... very fast way to get them....
I followed your instuction perfectly and triggered rescue mission but even after 20 restore points i always got C class freighter.... The class didn't change at all... Did the devs patched it??
@@ANKITKUMAR-tj7gq So I followed the instructions in another video and for one save it only took me 40 mins to get the freighter I was looking for. On another save it took me several hours before I got the freighter. On that save, I got loads of C class and B class in a row. This was only about a week or 2 ago, so I don't think they patched it. It's just going to take patience and repetition to finally get that S class. Good luck.
that sadly true. u can do them 250 each then. that only way tbh. or u can switch save to normal and refine them then switch back to survival. not sure why survival mode is only 250 like perm d save
