i love it, especially because people keep coming up with names for stuff that's not entirely new. Many old koan sound stuff sounds like this, and dare I say foley abuse through granulizers on piano as if it were to fit in anime is not new. Just like it's not new to keep finding new labels and making up subgenres. Still, it's amazing
@@rhn4710 @rhn4710 I know the proper name for it now ahaha. I just can't imagine switching from "botanica" to "acousmatic" now that the word is cemented as the new name to everyone lollll
awesome but i think it's too many layers. i think one set of those granulated pad sounds and a glitch track is enough to get that texture without being overwhelming. not sure if i'm the only one who feels this way. amazing production work and quality tutorial
Такое ощущение что я попал в какой-то аниме мир, где я Вместе со своими друзьями бегу по полю, покрытой зелёной травкой, и ветер дует так тепло по волосам, и открывается пред нами взор, красивый, яркий океан😊😊😊
This was awesome! Unsolicited recommendation: Show the final result at the START and at the END of the video. I clicked this because I’d never heard of the genre and wanted to know what it sounded like. Skipped to the end so I had a better idea of how everything would sound in context and feel like it made your breakdown of selecting all the pads, etc. easier to follow and more enjoyable. Just my two cents. Still an excellent video!
Idk if this really counts as much of a tutorial, its more of a breakdown of the elemements but I'd like to be shown how those are made, like which actual plugins are involved.
THIS IS BEAUTIFUL IN A WAY I LITERALLY CAN'T DESCRIBE IT GIVES SO MICH PEACE TO MY SOUL I didn't know this musical genre, I LOVE IT I LOVE IT SO MUCH I want to try it By the way, how did you do or where did you get those strings? Those violins from 0:53 are BEAUTIFUL are they Kontakt libraries or maybe Soundfonts? Or are they individual vsts?
this just popped up in my home feed - i had no freaking clue this was a genre, but when i heard it i immediately thought of every video game, esp indie, where you go through a meadow or something and it all made total sense. this is the "cleanest" sounding music I've ever heard. it reminds me of airbnb/amazon photos of modern minimalist kitchens and the sims XD
How to make those beautiful and ethereal texture pads, glitches, and atmospheric sounds like in this video, I'd LOVE a tutorial or demo on that! I think it's made with granular fx? But idk how to get it to sound musical. I think a shimmer reverb would also work well on these types of sounds! 😍
Musical genres were created and evolved over time due to a combination of cultural, historical and social influences. For example, jazz had its roots in the African-American community in New Orleans, flamenco in Andalusia, Spain, and reggae in Jamaica. New genres can appear at any time, music is a form of cultural and artistic expression in constant evolution, and human creativity has no limits.
So strange to hear a kind of music or composition style that's been around for 50 years or more, a mix of neo-classical, movie soundtrack music, new age meets folk, baroque pop, or even library music for TV documentaries, now rebranded as a new genre. Nevertheless, this is lovely.
literally never heard of this genre but this reminds me if like legends of zelda botw and the 3ds eshop music and the silent voice ost all combined into one thing with a little bit of a digicore influence
0:53 do you mess with the presets on the Joshua Bell Violin? or do you just use of the presets already made? I couldnt get that smooth sliding sound like you had.
I have literally never heard of this genre of music, but if it sounds so beautiful like this, than I must hear more of it! Wow, I'm in love with these ambient textures and atmospheric pads! 😍 They sound extremely beautiful and ethereal! They have a nostalgic and inspirational harmony to them that I absolutely love. It must be the Major 7 and 9 chords? Those are really beautiful sounding chords. Hey, can you recommend some good songs in this genre that sound like this?
