Lots of comments here being like “wow! This is amazing! So much determination, ingenuity, and hard work!” A LOT of these places have workers that are essentially slaves. Including children. They’re not working all working like this to “hustle.”

ahh if you ever looked up economic slaves in the middle east you would understand why they work like that. Ever been forced to take out a loan for health issues or something important? Imagine that and then not being able to see the contract or know the terms or interest rate. Then think about working for the person/people you have the loan through. Families have been working for generations to pay loans that their ancestors took without ever knowing when or if they will ever pay it back. ridiculously sad when you hear some of the stories.

If only these people weren't economic slaves being taken advantage of by interest on highly predatory loans from greedy people. If these people got paid decently and were able to eat properly and afford proper clothes they would be borderline bodybuilders. ( Maybe these exact people aren't but millions of people like this are. Dude; those bricks house about 1,851,148,725 people. That's 1.85 BILLION people. And those are from three countries i know that use the same type of bricks. Most probably in many other countries too. So maybe, just maybe the bricks aren't as bad as you think they are..

If they were going to break, they’d have broken in the firing. The need for machine compression and deairing in western world manufactured bricks is to reduce breakage in faster firings. If you don’t mind hand-building and deconstructing a warehouse sized kiln and running an extremely toxic multi-day coal fueled firing with every batch of bricks, this way is fine.

WRONG. The easiest way to make brick is to jailbreak an iPhone on iOS 15, they freak out And never turn on again, another alternative is to get an asus , they are just horrible when it comes to heat and not wanting to conk out .
