Ang Shiny top daw kasi mommy e result ng pag dissolve ng sugar,e sa recipe test ko naging glossy padin ung top kahit wire whisk lng ang gamit at mix lng cgro ng 1- 2mins.. So Ayon sa aking pageeksamin😅hehe, Warm batter talaga.. Sana hindi ako mali haha confident ako eh..
My recipe is almost exactly the same but I use a mix of powdered sugar (icing sugar, confectioners sugar) & brown sugar…..it’s delicious & sometimes I’ll also use some squares of flavoured chocolate to amp up the brownie flavour instead of just chips/melts. Definitely trying this….

What’s he deal with mixing cocoa powder in with the flour? Never tried that before but it looks interesting. Also last time I tried to brown butter I got a film that formed and only kinda broke down with mixing. When I added the chocolate the mixture looked grainy. Would using a whisk fix that?
Hello, sorry super late reply. The combining of Flour and Cocoa is just a step to mix all dry ingredients. For the brown butter I usually don’t get the formed film like you had, As butter melts, the solids should rise in a frothy layer & then sink to the bottom of the pan, then take pan off the heat. My guess is you only melted the butter, Hence the grainy finish? Not sure if you can fix that with whisking.
Sorry for the very late reply, But I am not sure about the substitute for the eggs, sorry🙌🏼 I haven't tried an eggless recipe brownies. I would definitely try to research on that and try baking it.
Hi, I haven't tried replacing melted chocolate for this recipe with cocoa. But if you really want to try cocoa as a substitute use these quick conversions from the internet: 1 square (1 oz ) chocolate = 3 tablespoons cocoa powder + 1 tbsp melted butter or oil.
