ENGLISH VERSION 🙌 Ingredients - 150grams of white sugar 100grams of single cream (sometimes called Whipping cream) 1 tablespoon of butter (optional to add a teaspoon of vanilla essence and a teaspoon of salt into the caramel right before pouring onto the baking paper sheet) Method- Put the 150grams of white sugar into a non stick saucepan/ pot, start on medium heat then raise to high temperature. The melting point of white sugar is around 180 degrees Celsius, when the pan reaches this temperature the sugar will turn to liquid. At this stage make sure you stir and continue stirring, not letting it stick to the bottom. The liquid sugar will slowly be turning caramel brown colour. Once the sugar crystals are all dissolved, add in the 100grams of cream and stir very quickly and thoroughly. (it looks like the chef in the video has whipped the cream beforehand but it worked perfectly with liquid cream) Just like in the video at first there is a big caramel lump surrounded by caramel juices, don't worry keep stirring it and it will come together as one texture. Test the consistency of the caramel by dropping a bit of caramel into cold water, press between you're fingers to see if you have the desired texture. If it is too runny /liquidy then keep stirring in the pan on heat until the consistency test is passed. Once it's the right texture you can turn off the heat and add the butter. (this is the stage I would add vanilla and salt if you want to do that) Then pour onto a baking sheet in a pan or whatever shape mold you have, and place it in the fridge for about an hour to set :) Cut into whatever shapes you desire and enjoy
@@alikamal6876 hi Ali :) yes the stove stays on high heat. When the cream is added it cools down the whole mixture (since this is basically half of the ingredients added in cold) but the stove remains on high heat and brings this mixture back to boiling/bubbling temperature only take it off when the mixture is smooth and the drop in cold water test is passed I hope this is helpful and you have success with it

Randomly came across this and for some reason I looked at it, and was like.. This looks Turkish, and I was right. Turkish people are great with snacks of all kind, when I was little, the mother of my Turkish friend would always bring some home-made snacks to us whenever I came to visit, and it's always something different and really tasty.
I don't speak/read Turkish but I made this recipe as shown in this video and it worked absolutely perfectly. I added a touch of vanilla essence right at the end of the caramel and a teaspoon of salt. Once the caramel was set and cut I dipped the cubes in melted chocolate then sprinkled salt on top and set in the fridge again. They are so delicious!! Thank you so much for this recipe :) Teşekkürler
These look delicious and how you wrapped them was so cute. I've just subscribed to your channel and I'm so excited to watch more of your videos. Thank you for your hard work. Xx
