100% Olive Oil soap | All Natural Handmade soap | How to make castile soap at home | Castile soap recipe| Handmade soap with essential oils | Soapmaking for beginners
Recipe:
Olive oil - 900 grams ( I used pomace olive oil)
Sodium Hydroxide or Lye - 118 grams
Distilled water - 185 grams
*Water discount is calculated into the recipe
Essential Oil Blend: (27 grams)
Lavender Essential Oil - 13 grams
Lemongrass Essential Oil - 13 grams
Patchouli Essential Oil - 1 gram
*Essential Oil is totally optional
Tips:
100% Olive oil soap will be very soft and needs a longer curing time (2 months to 1 year)
Once cured it will result in very hard bard of soap
Pomace Olive oil will result in a harder bar than Extra virgin or virgin olive oil bar
Water discount helps in reducing the curing time
