Definitely! The yellow actually looks really good, when done properly. And if you do the legends and stuff with a proper pen, it wouldn't look too bad lol

@@TaeKeyboards Use a stencil for the lettering and then spray clear coat over the top to stop ink coming off and getting on your hands.

I agree. Further, some (ok, expensive) markers are refillable. I wonder if the alcohol etches the pbt or if there color just sits on top. Waiting for the long term review in a year?

Alternatively you can print off your legend's using water slide decal paper. You can also spray paint them before hand. Hell if you use some painter's tape to mask off the legend's, you could spray paint them and remove the legend's! So many possibilities!

But now seriously speaking, a ninja board (no letters whatsoever) painted like that would look kind of ok even if using markers. And actually, some people can make amazing fonts by hand. So if not using markers but the right paints and brushes, the final look of manually customized keycaps could potentially be no-joke amazing really

You could spray Paint on them first and then write the letters using any colour permanent marker with the help of an Alphabet Stencil. Your Keycaps looks Cheap but if you will use spray paint, then they will look Exclusive.

Lol, this is so good. In all honesty, though, your keys look better than about 99% of all group buys and custom sets. Everyone always goes for the stupid, group think, bright colored caps. Or dumb "chalk" colored, or garbage ABS, or horrible Cherry Profile/MT3/XDA/etc. It sucks that so many people like sh!tty things, so that nobody manufactures good stuff like an SSA Profile, PBT, desaturated, dark colored keycap set. They _do not exist._

For reals though; could you dip blank whites into quality vibrant paint, then paint on some sick calligraphy font for the legend, then maybe some protective clear coat on top that wouldn’t rub off easy? And not feel funky to the touch?

Im so cheap af that I don't have a mechanical keyboard and use a 60 membrane keyboard, as we know, you can't find any other keycaps anywhere so best resort is customizing it manually
