Good morning everyone This Christmas ornament is super easy to make, as I mentioned in the video, this tutorial is for beginners and don’t want to involve with lot of sewing machine, I used hot glue gun at the end to glue each one together, but as a sewers , you can easily sew each piece together as add shown in the video. If there is double-sided card stock paper, I wonder if you could use that. My front porch has eight 4-panel windows and am thinking of hanging something on them so I wouldn’t have to use a ladder outside to hang light? This is a beautiful Holiday ornament. :-)

It would be so much fun to also hang from your windows. Because you can see it on both sides. You could make a couple of these and have them staggered or you could make a banner. The possibilities are endless with this project. Again, thank you.

Sew and/or glue - folks can do what works best for them and it still looks great! Sometimes my arthritis hurts too much to sew, so glue becomes my best bet.
I, too, had trouble with your sewing instructions. You sewed the first point differently than the next three. And I didn't understand your correction. I guess I will just try a couple and see what works best. Thank you for showing us a beautiful way to use up scraps!

Hi Vivian, So Beautiful thank you for such an easy tutorial. Do you think it could be washable with the hot glue? We live in a dusty area so i'd like to wash it before storing for next year.

Hi - I have made this and am about to SEW it. At approx 6:11 when you explain how to sew it - you seem to miss out sewing the first 'fold' but you say to sew all the rest? Have I got this wrong perhaps? It is looking good though - thank you. Can't wait to finish it! x

Thanks for your quick reply - appreciated. Not sure from your answer - so I have decided to just go ahead and use the glue gun. I am actually not keen on the hot glue gun but this would certainly be much quicker! Can you tell me if the glue lasts (holds the material in position for a very long time) - or will this fall apart after a few years! Love your voice by the way and you make me chuckle with your comments such as 'I don't want to make you wait a year' and due to the wind outside you came back in as you 'did not want to end up in the sky'! I have been subscribed for a while and love your channel x
