@@Eisenwulf666 yeah, my father was holding a hot metal spoon and passed it to my aunt, it burned her hand so she dropped it to the floor it had no effect in my father because for a long time in his life he worked using his hands, and he doesn't do it regularly so you can build up resistance if you do it regularly but it's not gonna be pretty the first time you do it
Oh my goodness another Uncle Kap video! You're awesome! (Old Spice should hire you for the advertising of what should be their new product - "Older Spicier: Samoan Blend") :D
I found your coconut husking video on Tumblr and now I'm obsessed! Kap this is all so incredibly interesting! Keep it up! You honestly have such a natural presence on camera and a smooth flow of presentation. I don't know if you have been doing this for years or if it just came naturally to you, but you are wonderful. You really should have your own cooking show!
Colonel Angus well if you have time visit Oahu use your map to find your way to the Polynesian cultural center and kap will have his show somewhere in Samoa section in not even lying I live in Oahu
@@krassergamerLP the way of the new York city and the new one of the other day and then we have to be able to see you have a few months of the other use of the other day and then you are you
@@jorgevencespizzakiller933 Check out Yap, Micronesia. I haven't been, but one of my friends about ten years ago was from there. I don't smoke, but it's said that there's so much wild pot there that you can walk along and pick it as you go. They also still use giant rocks as money, so their bankers are the most stoned people in the world.
@@justsomeguywithoutamustach3608 😂 As a Samoan Kap makes it look fun and easy cause he’s an entertainer. But it’s much harder and annoying than it looks
Alot of people are suggesting that you do your own cooking show and i see why not. That would be great, i wanna see you cook delish foods using your increadible cooking ware, a stove made of stones, strainer made of coconut husk, tong made of wood stick and alot more. Even by just thinking abiut it makes me happy and hungry...
Kap is a painter too.. he sells his painting in the "Polynesian Culture" in Oahu.. you can catch him there working at the Samoan village probably the very first village you'll come to.
I love this guy and only watched him 2 times I like also how he said “this t really hot” and he’s holding it with his fingers lol really good and I don’t know how he’s only got 60k subs he needs 60 million subs
Tālofa! I am from Puerto Rico and this one of my absolute favorite foods growing up! I Admire your strength and tenacity and all around good nature love watching these videos and learning about different cultures and how we walk a similar path. Manuia le afiafi!
this is great, I watched one and now I am watching them all and I live in London and I don't know what to do with all that knowledge but this is so cool I don't care anymore !
Assuming if the place your in is hot and has coconut then you should put the husk in a fire it's a good mosquito repellent and can keep you warm during the night
I've been living with coconut trees arround my house since I was a kid, and the cultural difference at how people do things that are actually similliar are facinating.
i dont know if u will ever read this but i come back to these videos from time to time and it's really relaxing thank you for sharing these bits of wisdom i hope your still doing well
I remember back in the 70's we used to make fresh coconut milk. Yup my papa would grate em on seat with what I called " bear claw"😂. I learned by watching from Hosking, cracking, grating, and making the fresh milk. We used cheese cloth or new panty hose we doubled up. Nothing is more delicious than fresh coconut milk. My papa would also make coconut oil. Wonderful childhood memories.
