Great work!! My father remembered my grandmother doing this.. He said the residue left after taking the oil used to be very tasty...he used to wait till granny finishes the oil making process so that he can enjoy the residue

I had seen many videos related to coconut oil. But this is different and natural. Pure coconut oil is very healthy and energetic as per ayurveda. Instead of buying from shops, we can make it in our home itself. this video gives us a clear idea on it. While seeing this video, I am remembering my grandma who used to perform this. Really different way to extract while traditionally one squeezes copra to get coconut oil. We dry ripe coconut in the sun for a few days and extract oil. It may not make sense economically but your method is really unique. Thanks for the interesting video.

Tks. Suggest better not use hand to squeeze out oil. Strain with metal strainer n press with a spoon. Shelf life will b longer. If u chill it: it will be hard like cold pressed oil. During winter it will harden by itself for the cold temperature 🙏
