Cool project, I have one that has an XT60 connector to run on rc lipos, very handy in the field. Switch is backwards though: I = 1 = True = ON O = 0 = False = OFF

How is it possible that with a Step Up Booster of 2A you can operate a heating element of 24v and 50W ?. I have used one of 4A and it reaches very high temperatures

May I know which wire of the element we need to cut and remove and which two wires need to be powered? Mine has a blue wire coming from the outer tube. Inside the thin tube there are one red and two colorless wires. The blue one from outside and the red one inside are shorted. The alarm on the multimeter turns on

MT3608 output max 2A ! a1322 heating element 24v 50W 50W / 15 = 3,33 A This module fire ! :-D

how did you find 3,33 A ? (15 !) Watt= Ampere x Volt it should be 50w/24v =2,08 A (approximately 2 A)

Look for laptop battery packs that are broken or not charging. Those contain 6pcs of lithium batteries. Atleast it has 3 pcs usable.

My glue gun keeps throwing the electricity out in one part off mt apartment.... It's a UHU low heat glue gun. U have any idea why this happens? I can hear ceackling noise inside also. Is this fixable maybe? They're really expensive also but for me it's important have a low heat gun so i don't breathe in the fumes from the plastic as i am sensitive to it 😒

Wow, nice, never thought about swapping the heating element, this way you could even connect it to a soldering station and control the temperature and with full voltage but controlled temperature it gets hot in some seconds. Only thing I don't like is the superglue, I just don't trust it, have bad expirience with it, but you are the master of glue, probably you know it is good, but I always use cheap superglue, best I ever had was nameless gel-superglue but that was expensive :-)

Jose Fernandes , when cells melt thru plastic. Jk! Charger is for 2 18650 and only 8.4 volts. You could charge for couple hours still won't overcharge. Great idea for ol' boy

The Heating element is of about 50W. A good 18650 battery have about 10Wh so maybe less than 12m because boost converter is not 100% efficient also.

@@yoamal1187 okay. What's the point of a battery in your phone? You can just plug it in somewhere and it can ruin the phone. Same argument could be applied to a lot of things. A lot of situations would require a extension chord etc but if you just had a wireless one you dont need too. I think the DIY aspect is a why. But the buying a wireless glue gun is definitely not a dumb idea like most diy channels posts
