"Listen carefully everyone who reads this. If you ever have an encounter with a Master Mason that does these decorative mouldings; Please? Pay the Man or woman what ever they ask, do not devalue their work by refusing to pay the amount estimated by the Mason Constructor. After the work is completed; Get a copy of the Mason Contractor receipt and give it to a real estate appraiser, and the agent would give you the true value of your home in terms of your design and work quality. We must respect the mason. For to long the work was disrespected because they mix mortar and it is considered a messy job that is not valued. These masons are Masters, and it took years of training and proper planning to profect a home with high quality due to standards of living legendary."
Its hard to find master carpentets and builder in the DC, MD, & VA area. Not that there aren't good hard workers. But it's hard to find them. I had a friend from Portugal, who did amazing work. I have yet to find someone like him. He's back in Portugal.
Please share how you prepare the cement too, mine doesn't stick to the wall so perfectly like yours and keeps falling down while working on it, how much fine sand and cement you mix with how much water?
