That's a good guide. One thing to add here. If you fly Starfighter and do the weekly you will earn Fleet Commendations which you can exchange for starship upgrades costing 350 fleet commendations. Those items can be sold on the GTN and usually fetch a couple of million credits. As Starfighter matches are available even at low levels, selling those items might be a good way to get the starting funds for your GTN-game.
I actually run The Trade Federation. A crafting guild where we teach people how to make billions of credits. Also help run the 2nd largest conquest guild on starforge where we run conquest seasons giving away billions of credits and hundreds of cartel packs, along w other goodies. Personally my highest craft day was 67billion made in a day. Feel free to reach out if u need some more tips or would like to interview a large community 😀 Good videos for those starting ! :)
Love these guides! I just came back (I left a year after launch) and I am so glad to see an updated guide! I have watched your content for years and I am having a great time getting back into the stories.
Love the vid. I’ve always felt stupid because I’ve never accumulated anything over 20 mil per character just because I’m always buying stuff and never being smart with selling stuff. This makes it all seem doable
@@Swtorista came back to say the tech fragments/OEM method worked PERFECTLY and I’ve never been this rich in the game ever. You’re the best content creator there is!
Right now the Nightlife event is happening and the some of the prize items like the weapons drops are sellable and they are going for crazy amounts. I sold a cannon for $30m and a blaster rifle for $50m!
I never really tried to farm credits before, but after this vid I made 450M, thank you very much ! :D (I sold 3 RPM-13 and had a few rare materials in inventory that I never looked up on GTN)
Oh wow nice guide,I really needed this. Also few days ago listening to my friends advice and also for the fact I ran out of credits,I crafted few low level synthweaving armors and sold them on the GTN for like 100k each piece,at first I thought "ya no one is gonna buy that" but when the next day I opened the game,I was actually shocked to see that few people actually bought it
Very nice! My prefered way of getting credits is the artifice crewskill. No matter what level people are on, they want colorcrystals and especially dyes to make their character look better. Even the first dyes you can craft sell for 60-80k on the Darth Malgus server, often more. Some dyes are more popular and sell better for good prices, such as the white-red dye, but it’s also smart to look out for more rare dyes, as you might be the only seller and can get some good credits, just don’t craft too many. The market has changed now, but for some months back I had a monopoly on a very easy to craft red-green dye which I sold a good amount for around 400k each. Always pay attention to the market! (Bonus story of the fastest credits I’ve made: I was looking to buy a mandalorian armor set from the GTN and was checking the prices each day to buy at it’s lowest when I suddenly saw a gold set for 9k. Bought it and sold it again for 800 million credits. So yeah, always pay attention to the market)
Hey there, can you make an updated indepth video on crafting please? I only started playing a month ago and i have no idea how crafting works. All videos on RU-vid are outdated and you are possibly the only active swtor creator still that makes actually informative content. This week's seasonal conquest (as im sure you already know) has a crafting mission but idk how to do it, and theres no video on RU-vid about it either, and i wanna get it done. So please. PLEASE make an updated video explaining them. You will no doubt help many new players like me. Thanks! I hope you atleast read and consider it lol
It's been a month and I thought it would be overly exploited till it doesn't work, but I recently got 4k fragments and listed it for half the price of the average (I know I couldve earned more, but tbh I'm still in the middle kotet and that one sale alone instantly increased my net worth x100.) I listed it for 75 mil and it got bought instantly. Good tactic 👍
Great content. Very helpful. I'm playing the GTN. Seems that a decent group of players on my server like the five various "War Supplies" to, I believe, easily make the Conquest target. Crafting an Invasion Force uses one each of the five and grants 16k Conquest and can be repeated for a total of 7 times. So one character can make the 100K Conquest target just by crafting an Invasion Force per day. I've made just over a Billion in the last 10 weeks. Have plowed it all into getting Mounts. So much fun. I keep wondering when this cash-cow is going to fade.
Great video! I’m a new level 22 player, I’ve watched so many of your videos that have helped me! But a lot of them are older now :( I just feel like I’m missing so much for some reason as a level 22 Jedi guardian, I mean I don’t feel underpowered? But I feel I’m missing a huge part of the crafting! I just got my crafting class that is for saber crystals and such, and now I’m lost :/ I love the game but there is SO MUCH!
Hello! As a level 22 you don't have to worry too much about the millions of systems in the game - you're mostly meant to be chilling out, enjoying your story and levellling up. Crafting you can jump in at level 22 or at level 80 - nothing bad happens if you wait :)
@@Swtorista oh that’s great to hear! Thank you for the reply! One more question, if you don’t mind of course. So yep level 22 and I have a stronghold and obviously my ship, I also have 95,000 credits hahah. What should I spend them on at such a low level? Because I’m scared to buy any gear and then find or be rewarded higher level gear ya know? Thank you again for your help!
@@SERPENT741 I would actually not spend credits on gear as mostly you get good gear over time in the story and via FPs etc. At lvl 80 go to the vendor to get the 80s stuff. As for crafting, the more you let the companions work and go to the next tier and craft onwards the better the things to sell. Sending out companions on missions gets you some rarer items - this is actually where quite some credits go in the beginning. With the outfitter there might be some options for the amor crafted by players depending on the look I guess - I have not tried this.
@@Stephan-H hey thank you for replying! Ok cool I figured I would pick up gear throughout the story and by exploring so I didn’t wanna spend credits there, the crafting system in this game is to big brain for me haha I haven’t had one this intimidating to me yet, so you said “sending companions on missions gets you rarer items” now that I have chosen my crafting class (whichever one gets the saber crystals is what I chose) can I actually send my companions out on their own quest or mission to acquire crafting materials for them to make? Or do I find those in the world like the crystal nodes I have noticed exploring? And also it’s my companions that technically do the crafting right? That’s why when I open the menu for it all of my companions have that crafting skill and the blueprints where as I don’t. Sorry for so many questions, general chat in game is useless for a new player even tho I’m a sub, and Reddit can be worse haha.
In my opinion, the fastest and most reliable method of making a lot of money is definitely selling cartel stuff on the GTN. I spent like 250 coins or whatever on a bronze armor pack, got a lucky drop and sold it for 850 mil. Same thing happened when buying mount packs. I have an advantage in this, because my tastes are pretty grounded, so extravagant items like garish armors or ridiculous mounts have no value to me other than selling. If you aren't willing to spend cartel coins with the intent to sell on the market, or you don't get coins at all, then playing the market is definitely this smart choice. Sometimes either people don't know what they were doing or they just made a mistake and they'll put a high value item for far less than it's worth. You can spend an hour just browsing the market for specific items and likely turn that into a few hundred million credits. Just takes patience.
Hey Swtorista, thanks for the video, I've been selling g the OEM and RPM selling for a bit now and your video goes over most of what I do to earn alot of my credits. Thanks for sharing the tips to everyone 😃 Quick question though, any idea what the conquest Commedations are used for other than trading for the tech fragments? Great work as always!~
Haha! I need to lower the OEM price so i can afford gold augments is my plan all along ;) They are used to buy very basic green level conquest gear, learn more here swtorista.com/articles/swtor-level-80-gearing-guide/
I've taken a break from swtor a few months ago because i was unhappy with the new dlc, but before i did i made 3 billion by playing the gtn within a month. I didnt do any specific research, just picked materials noone cares about, artificially lowered the price by 75% and made up to 100million per day. The more money you have the easier it gets. If you REALLY REALLY want to be warren buffet, you can do that method on multiple accounts on different materials and possibly even on different servers. That would definetly take 8 hours a day but i dareesay you could make hundreds of billions in a month. The most underrated aspect of the game imo
i flipped 20 cartel crates on the gtn for 2 billion creds from cartel coins i got from sec key and subs. A week before i sold 300 mil worth of molytex and farium. the former is definitely easier than the latter.
yeah, inflation in this game is no joke! Very fortunate to have hit the billion dollar club myself. Pretty much used a mix of every method you described above lol.
I currently have a way of producing unlimited green jawa junks (by taking repeatedly a lightsaber with a the simplest color crystal in it out of collections). Extracting the crystal costs 11credits and it gives between 2 & 4 green jawa junks, which I can use to buy the white crafting materials. It's a nice thing to do if you want to craft higher-level items and haven't yet reached the planets to harvest them by exploring. But I already have a character that I rushed only thru the main quests for that single purpose, to reach further planets and harvest higher level white materials. However the difficult ones to get are the purple materials (that rely not only on reaching certain crew skill level to attempt it, but also to do the missions with critical success), and while they're not that cheap (because of the many many attempts you have to do) they take super long time to do. I recently started new couple of new characters that I'm equipping with crafted purple items, mods & +41 pow/end crystals, but it turns out I spend way more time doing crew missions to get purple materials than actually playing the game - it's just boring :) So if there's a way to get purple materials from green jawa scrap (for 11 credits for 2 scraps) it would be great! I know I can exchange them for blue & purple jawa scraps and then buy the needed materials, but it costs 10 scraps & 1000 credits to buy single scrap of the higher level. So it effectively costs me 1055 credits (and little time clicking) to get 1 blue jawa scrap. And then 10550 credits for single purple jawa scrap. Of course higher level purple materials costs more than one purple jawa scrap, so multiply at will :) Still if there's an easy way to make lots of money I can get easily purple materials. And I'm quite sure it'll be much much faster than sending companions on crew skill missions. I'm not sure of the materials economy in the GTN ... perhaps I can start some profitable business with the few millions credits I have. I think I'll need a sheet too ... :)
I feel a bit dirty for doing it but: Get a stealth character, speedrun the Shadow of Revan Flashpoints on Story mode, and sell the decorations you get on the GTM for a few million credits per piece. It's basically ripping off players that don't know how to get these decorations in like 15 minutes instead of spending like five million credits on them, but it just works so well.
Playing the GTN has been my way. Sniping and Flipping. Just go to the Cartel Shop, and check the "Popular" page, that's your snipe targets. It's actually kind of ridiculous how often people either set their cartel items up for default prices, or forgets a 0. Stuff like Arcanns Mask and the Commander's Compendium. You are not neccesarily looking for high value items, you are looking for high demand and supply items. The more people that sell your targeted item, the higher the chances of someone making a mistake.
Here's how I make credits: 1. Gathering for grade 11 scavenging, archeology, and bioanalysis. 2. Have multiple characters with grade 11 slicing and run off the radar 3. Use the mission items that are gain from off the radar on the character with that crew skill. You can get 0-5 legendary embers per mission. 4. Sell all the items on the gtn that are going up in price. Legendary embers sell easily for 2-3 million each and the grade 11 crafting mats can go for a lot also.
i found you can easily get a couple mill a day at low levels with crew skills, as long as you're at least a preferred player you can effortlessly get enough stuff to sell on the market to make multiple 6 digit sales a night, so until 70+ that can help anyone else wondering. just find which items from your crew skills are most valuable on the market and farm those
Can anyone explain why there's been such an inflation on the GTN , as if IRL inflation wasn't bad enough ? 😂 I have about 200M credits right now because I started playing after a 1 year break and found valuable old Cartel items in my Legacy Hold , but even with that most of the cool decorations are going for 600M and more , worse for some armours and weapons . How come ?
It's a combo of old credit exploits, and also, conquests/quests rewarding too many credits. Here's half the puzzle ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WjW01gmgN9Y.html the other half is still kinda being solved by Bioware!
I don't know if it's because this info (about tech.fragments being reward of conquest reaching 100k), but I only get a credit certificate, a box of materials, box of companion gifts & box with 5 armor items.
I just need to figure out how to make enough credits to start the game. I need millions for rocket boost and to unlock the species i want to play as sith. It sucks that everywhere i look says "hit level 80" It sucks I have to hit 80 just to play the race/class combo i want :/ I need the money before 80 to unlock the stuff i need/character I want to play. Kinda a really big quit moment for new players.
So before the patch that removed mats from ops/ranked people used to wintrade tr for RPMs completely tanking the price down to like 30-50m. I took a break at that time and cheaply bought mats for a few billion that i then sold again last week with about 300% profit. Then had to find stuff to buy with that money because the credits would probably half in value by next month or something. Also PSA for people selling cartel items they bought with cc: wait for the bind timer to end before you try to sell it or at least tell me before. If we agree on a price, you then tell me its bound for another 2 days and by that time i can get it much cheaper than that i don't feel obligated to still buy it from you. Just because that happened to me the other day.
if I don't subscribe I can't exceed the 1m credit? or i can? because I want to buy a new character with the 1.5 m but my stock IS block at 1m where go the other crédit i get ?.
Hey! The Swoop event when it comes up is great. Otherwise Heroics and other quests in general are pretty ok. Most credits are from the GTN though. Gathering crafting materials and selling them sub-1million could be an option too.
I was actually thinking about coming back to the game after watching this video, since I could theoretically get a few characters up to the new max and start playing regularly again. Then, I unfortunately remembered that "preferred" status players can only carry 1,000,000 credits, which is absolutely ridiculous. I remember now, I stopped playing because the game doesn't respect my time or my money.
WHAT IS THAT B-ROLL FOOTAGE AT 13:10 ? How did you manage to get THAT many people ON FLEET doing that? Like, any other place, I'd 100% believe it. But imp fleet usually isn't that receptive. lol
yeah i bought hypercrates from some one for 100 mill becuase he didnt know the price then i made 10 bill off of it plus when i have extra money ill buy something off the crtel market thats worth over a bill then sell it to players
Last time played in 2015 just came back, I want to buy Kreia's armor but it's 350kk in market.. In cartel market I noticed that I have 2.2k coins, what should I buy from it and sell quickly in market so that I could afford kreia's armor?
it be way too tempting for me to not spend millions of credits mostly on companion gifts or upgrades or crew missions, but i wanna be a least a millionare again lol
The most easiest way to make lots credits is to sell stuff ppl in gtn want to buy which is crafted items materials. 1 item ppl want to buy are stuff that involve high lvl augments.
As someone who gave so much to the community I'd like to pay for a full set of gold augs for you. Which type do you need? Are you on Satele Shan or Star Forge? Volatil'ity impside on Star Forge, Fulloffury impside on Satele Shan. Take care
It's funny how inflation is also sneaking into our games as well. Runescape also has this problem. Way back when, it used to be a challenge to get a million or so gold pieces... Now you can sell a dozen eggs or so for 50k It's... a bit sad and silly.
The economy in SWTOR is so hyperinflated i can't imagine any new player not feeling daunted by it. The 1 mil cap for F2P need to be adjusted to at least 10 mil as well. 1 mil in SWTOR is like having 100 gold in WoW. Seeing items in trade going for billions is just insane.
@@crackhead2027 I have 1 character who has stored all the old cartel market items i got from years back. Easily got 1 bil+ in items i could sell but they are useless unless i sub. SWTOR has one of the worst F2P models. Hell look at Lost Ark. Nothing restricted and a better quality game that is F2P...
Made 8 billion merching. learned from runescape GE. deal in high end weapons where you can literally buy out the whole supply on any given server and sell them all with ladder prices: 1 for 700 one for 800 one for 900 etc. can inflate the price by yourself and profit 3-400 m per item
After playing for so many years, one would think you're an expert on SWTOR.... I've commented before on your somewhat naive admiration for the decoration of forts and flagships. The best were the ones with the most prestige, and they looked out of place and lore. Stone decorations, columns and monuments on warships, decorations studded regardless of faction and stronghold orientation. Now you are talking about making quick money... As someone who is the Founder of SWTOR with 15 lvl 80 toons and 11 BILLION credits on my account, I would beg you not to mislead people. Nothing but equipment should be purchased with tech fragments even though their acquisition is unlimited. ESPECIALLY you should never exchange galactic conquest points for tech fragments, as they have a weekly acquisition limit. OEM-37 and RPM-13 cost 4000 tech fragments to purchase. They are currently being sold for 24 million per loan, but only if you are lucky. Mine are the cheapest on the server and I haven't sold a single one in 2 weeks (thank you for the great tip). The secret lies in selling lvl 11 materials. As gathering skills I chose slicing, scavenging and archeology all max to 700. I don't want to give away my location, but it can be found on the internet where 1000 of each source of material is gathered in an hour. I sell them in sets of 50 pieces, and the price varies from 5000 to 10000 credits per piece. The most important thing is that they sell within minutes after I put them on GTN. I'm not greedy, I collect million by million, and that way I earn 80 to 100 million a day (depending on demand). So lvl 11 materials and no greed.
I'm from Brazil and i'm having this one time password issue on the launcher and the browser since May, EA Help told me that a brazillian player calling the US support and UK support of SWTOR won't work, because it might let me some charges. Is there another way on fixing this problem ? The One Time Password hasn't appeared on any email that i have. I'm also a subscriber
you can always try using skype it's a lot less expensive swtorista.com/articles/how-to-fix-your-one-time-password-in-swtor-if-it-is-not-arriving-by-email/
I had no clue that jawa scrap was such a good money provider, I played hard last patch, and have around 14k purple jawa scrap, anyone need crafting materials hmu lmfao.
Me a new player (an never played a mmo): Thinking i can make reasonable money doing main/sude Quests. MMO's: FOOL! ! ! But seriously just listening sounds like i need to do more research how to make money.
Hello video creator........ Is this video still valid, I've recently come back after a long break and need to make serious cash again as God knows what I did with my millions on my old accounts before I left 😳
If all the stuff wasn't bound the trade market would be alot better who wants to spend real cash to make fake cash in a shitty mmo with a just ok story that needs so much work with all the glitches.. If I wanted to played a crafting game I would find a game based on crafting
