This video is pleasing for your ears and eyes, one there's the keyboard clacking, two her voice is so chill and it sounds so good, and three the eyes are so pretty!
Hey! I checked out a couple of your tutorials, and I found them all very helpful! I'm pretty new to VRoid and am constantly trying to find ways to improve my models. I like how yours are very simple and easy to follow, and don't drag on for thirty minutes. I'm definitely subscribing :)
For anyone wondering how you do the "Parent" thing she did in the vid on gimp, all you need to do is double click the layer you are painting on (not the template you use) and set the composite mode to "Clip To Backdrop". This will copy the alpha over to the iris you are drawing, so it doesn't go out of bounds. Took me like 30 mins to find this feature, so i hope it helps anyone running into the same issue.
randomly came across this, researching how to make a vtuber model. very useful info in the vid, its just too bad my shitty hands dont have the experience to apply what my brain knows. i cant draw to save my life, was hoping to see if theres a way to download an eye texture and then upload to vroid studio?
@@Verikoshi Ah yes! Thats very possible, look for free eye textures possibly on something like deviant art. Also its okay it all takes time and practice. Remember to be patient with yourself ^_^
@@Syafire its awesome that you actually responded! but i figured it out. i got a really cool free art program, drew up some super cute eyes with help from a vid and imported onto my model. im very excited that it actually worked cause ive been up for over 24hrs studying all this vturber modeling stuff!
@@Syafire Thank you! and when im passionate about learning new things i tend to jump in the deep end to figure it out haha. btw Im making custom clothes now!!
Your video was very helpful! I'm building out my model for the first time and have very little experience with building 3d models. So I appreciate this.
to make things easier, if your drawing the eye texture directly in VRoid right-click the layer called default image and select alpha lock so you don't have to worry about drawing over the lines.
For some reason, whenever I import my eyes form Clip Studio Pro, into Vroid, the eyes look squashed. There's no way for me to adjust the size and shape of the layers. What should I do?
I had this problem myself and only just figured it out lol. The likelihood is that the size and aspect of the skin texture has been changed. Open the imported png file directly and draw on top of the iris base,, it will keep the file the same size. Idk how well I explained that, but lmk if you need further explanation.
@@Syafire My bad! I was using the general brushes but I just couldn't get mine to looks as nice as yours. Thanks so much for the video btw! Helped a lot!
So, the color wheel I got as a payed add-on. But you should have another type of color picker if you go to window > color. And to get brushes you can go window > brushes
Is there something specific that needs to be done with the eyebrows? I erased the ones in the "Default Image" part and when I go to tracking and raise the eyebrows, they disappear from the middle towards the middle of the forehead
I just got started and it's a pretty cool program... However, I'm curious if it's possible to completely alter the shape of the eye. I'm trying to mimic the Dragon Ball/Dragon Quest art style, which uses very simple shapes for the eyes. However, because of the way the textures are mapped, I can't just draw a pair of circles and call it a day.
@@Syafire I think Blender will have to be my solution... Also, I apologize for not clearly stating my problem. Whenever I try to redo the textures, the default mesh causes a ton of warping so I'm unable to change the actual shape of the eyes.
Alrighty... after experimenting with the sliders for a bit, I actually figured out how to alter the eye shapes to my liking. Now, my problem is that these eyebrow-like shapes appear... I hope it's just a texture thing that I can somehow fix, but I have a feeling it's a result of the model being adjusted in a way it wasn't designed to be.
I got it on the google theme store just google google theme store xD I don’t remember what this one is called though but I love it too! Isn’t it cute Cx? ✨
@@Syafire I’m so used to using my iPad for art but I’m trying to break out of that, since my laptop is touchscreen. I still redrawing the eyes, each time it’s getting better!
@@vraptor4 Maybe try to see what size the original eye texture canvas is. Then once you retexture, create a brand new canvas at that exact size, and drag your new eyes in. That might work.
this isn't about eyes but my question would be how do you zoon and change the camera angle without a mouse I am getting a mouse in about a month or two but how to change the camera angle without a mouse would be very helpful
im new to this but i do photoshop and modeling but i never use peref but thoyuggh it was so sick downloaded it draged my immage to it then proced3ed to put it on my second monitor where the refrence pic was already opened lol but if it allowes you to make it trasparent then deff sick if not still a little usefull
Trying to do this with only a mouse with no photoshop experience is quite the challenge. You really lose something without the pressure a tablet provides.
@@Syafire I'm just struggling to understand most words it's a bit of both, it doesn't matter though I understood what to do by trial and error, just struggling with getting multiple images on one selection
@@crimsonscriticalcorner9048 this is a pretty old video I apologize if my words are hard to understand you could also possibly turn the watch speed down maybe that could help.
