you would have a way better beat note tone if you used MDF wood 12mills thick bro . for subs has to be sealed up air tight . how are you measuring the cubic volume air space the sub needs bro . i was an installer for 25 years doing all custom boots interiors t.v fold out the lot autobarn . for a perfect note all them variables need to be in line . or your hole sound system will sound shit an wont be hitting the correct bass frequency same as trebble tweeters . i use mono blocks in bridge mod in some . hope mytips help your sound an feel the bass

@spraywaycustoms when you staple the fleece to the panel do they stick out the back?

Another piece of art by SWC! Gorgeous custom door build but it's a shame they chose to put those garbage PA Style woofers in the door. It's like casting pearls to a pig (yes, went biblical there). The ONLY purposes for PA Style speakers in car/mobile audio is for serious SPL rides or to piss off everyone in the area with your (whoever uses them) muddy, muffled sounding LOUD system. They're intended for volume & throw but sound bad, even with a DSP... Kicker's also sound bad, they all do. Again, a shame that they spent the $ on those beautiful custom door cards/panels but spent @$100 per door instead of the $240+ per door on speakers the doors are worthy of. No offense to the owner but you spent the money on a Cadillac, dressing it up, making it up, but it's going to be bland & muddy beneath the 'lipstick'... and that is the exact type of woman who it will attract. Take quality, substance, adorn it beautifully and that is a lady, ride worth taking, IMO. Quality women are drawn to quality, can see through a beautiful facade. I know, it's all for show. 4 in the door are for attention, not [sound] quality. Remember the saying though, honey & cow shite both attract flies but the flies that honey attracts are much sweeter. I'm talking 100% about the woofers, not SWC's work. He's an artist, we all know that. Sound quality of music is subjective only to a point, bad is clearly bad. This 'rant' or whatever is to save those of you out there from making bad speaker choices, that's all.

I have a question. I'm doing some kick panel pods, and it has a lot of curves. I have fiberglassed, applied the body filler and have some large imperfections. Would apply another layer of the body filler or mix up some Rondo and apply it and self level the imperfections?

Nice work. You can add a little resin and a few drops of MEK to the bondo and it makes it nice and creamy and has less voids and holes.
