Had to reupload due to some parts being blacked out! I hope you guys enjoy this tutorial and my approach to this genre of music. Friday Desolation will come out with some sick sounds for this style of music so make sure to check it out. If you need some entertainment while on the road consider following me on instagram :D instagram.com/zenworldmusic
Nailed it maa dude! Might sound cheese, but I can't believe how bang you made that tutorial track sounded off of the simple conceptual explaining you've done here. Great Job!
Hey zen you should make some tutorials on some of the bitbird artists like San holo droeloe taska black Maybe a tutorial on how San holo makes some of his snares that sound metallic and sound like they have been time stretched Or a tutorial on how to make drop vocals like taska black problems remix
Just bought the pack! Super helpful. I would much rather pay for the presents than pay for splice samples because I can see what is going on, and therefore, learn from it.
hey Zen thank you so much for all your tutorials! Would you consider doing a video on the break of the song or the part before the build and drop and after the intro. Thanks!
Great tutorial (as always)!!! I believe at its core, it is complextro slowed down. Take “The Champ” by Wolfgang Gartner on RU-vid and drop the speed to 75%. It is pretty dope at that speed. Really most of his less melodic stuff is great at that speed. You said jigsaw puzzle and I was driving and it just popped into my brain. “Complextro is typified by glitchy, intricate basslines and textures created by sharply cutting between instruments in quick succession.” Word!
I’m confused. I bought this pack to follow along with the video, but the sounds are pitched differently. For example the Dentist patch sounds way different than it does in your video at the same octave/key. What else do I need to do, do I need to put my own processing into it ? lmk would love to keep exploring this genre
To me that "dark mid tempo" style is just bass house slowed down. I slowed some of my tracks and didn't change anything besides that and it sounded exactly the same lol! love it thou
What version of Ableton do you have? I have FL but want to switch over, do oyu need the most expensive one or not? I have alot of foreign plug ins so just dont wanna buy the cheapest one then regret it.
@@mintibeatsmemes3354 because he shouldnt have to approach that in a tutorial about something else. You clearly know about it so why must you have to be told the most boring 30 seconds every producer puts in their tutorial. Its not relevant at all to the song making process. Just mixing. Tutorials are just stepping stones man, you need to learn how to use your head to fill in the blanks because thats where the good ideas come from and are finalized
@@tastyboi2163 bru why do you have to be so salty? it was just a question I asked myself while watching the video. i know the answer to my question already so chill dude
Thanks my brother this is an old video but you are right. I could make shorts from it. Thanks for that awesome inspiration my brother. I hope you got something from it.
