Salamat po Nilo!!!! Great video and like others have said, learned a lot from it. I even understood some of it as my ex is Filipina and I used to go dancing with them a LOT. So I took some classes and surprised them with some Tagalog one night. EVERYBODY was surprised and even told me I made "their nose bleed". I miss my friends and have nothing but fond memories for them.
Plastic buckets are easier to find, easier to make holes in, and last a long time (unless exposed to the sun, which makes them brittle) Wooden buckets and bamboo will rot quickly as it's always wet. Clay jars are quite heavy and making holes in them might be hard without risking a crack. Hope this helps!

Great video!!! I have two questions, (1) can this be used for a small fish pond with tilapia? (2) aside making the water crystal clear what benefit will this for the fish (sorry newbie lang)? thanks and more power
Nitrifying bacteria will establish a colony on the solid media (looks like river stone) once oxygen is present and help breakdown the ammonia waste accumulating in the fish tank. This waste is toxic to fish so yes there is benefit beyond clear looking water.

Why would you put the filter padding at the bottom though? It would be better if you did a top to bottom configuration instead of a bottom to top configuration. It’ll make the cleaning so much easier.

Suggestion lang. Mas maigi cguro kung ang suction ng pump mo sa kabilang dulo ng pond mo para mas malayo sa discharge ng filter box mo. In this way mas effective ang filtering system mo.
