How to make durga idol at home with clay....Step by step process...
lets learn how to make a durga mata idol from shadu clay/terracotta clay which is not only an eco friendly material but also simple to mold.
You can try with normal brown clay or (terracotta clay) , if you wont get this shadu mati try using this.
This video will demonstrate the procedure to make Durga mata murti (idol) from sadu mitti (fire clay) with easy steps. It is better to use this idol in festival and immerse the idol at your home during Visarjan in an eco-friendly way.
Sadu mitti has very fine particles(it is in the form of dust) a. It should not dump at the roots of the plants because it may blocks supply of oxygen and water to roots.
This clay is called "Shadu Mati" in Mumbai. It is water based and air dried clay. It comes in powder form and can be prepared by mixing water.
