Love the tutorial. I would love to add that if you had a jump ring with your hook on the earrings they will move better. I made jewelry for years now and I always had a jump ring with my hook to give it more movement instead of making it stiff. Just my opinion. I wouldn't just add the hook to the earring it makes it really hard to move. To have a free flowing it makes it easier to add the jump ring and then add the hook and you can also move the hook on the earring slightly by holding the needle nose pliers and twisting the hook on the earrings and make it go the way you need it to.
Can you do a video carefully showing how to work with SVGs on a Mac Book Pro? I have the most difficult time tryint to download and use them - sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't and I can never figure out what I did right. I can't possibly be the only person who has problems with this.
I have problems with the faux leather coming off the mat as it is cutting and completely ruining the cut. What can I do? It seems like I get one good pair and the next 5 or a disaster.
I tried this with faux suede but the blade cu into my mat. I used the string grip mat, faux suede setting and fine point blade one my explorer 2. Are these not the correct settings and material?
