Great video! Does the tote bag need to have a certain polyester content or anything to work with the HTV? I've done sublimation before but haven't tried the Cricut yet.

Did you use Siser htv? I just tried to use it on a canvas tote and had trouble with it NOT sticking. I used the cricket recommendations of 315 for 30 seconds. Do you think I could try heating it again with your recommendations? I wasn't sure if you could heat something again on a later date. I am new to all of this. Thanks.

Sure!! Siser should work! Make sure you mirror your image and cut the siser shiny side face down

I think your bag was more cotton than canvas. I tried on a canvas tote from Hobby Lobby and parts are not sticking even with a high temperate. Plus, I had to lay a towel down instead of contact paper because when I used contact paper, I got a burn shape of the outline of the heat press on my bag. I think I need to buy those canvas totes instead of canvas.

Same thing. The canvas tote from Hobby Lobby are thick. When we did our iron-on onto it, it didn't stick and left a burn shape of the heat press too. Did the towel help?

I had this issue with my Canvus bag too, it won't stick. my friend who has had her Cruict for awhile, who was helping me with it. said she think it's because the bag is not cotton.
