How long did you wait after adding layers of silicone before you started shaping with your fingers? Mine was too sticky to do it right away and I also worry that a layer of messy silicone will be on the bottom of design near many areas of edge.

Hey! Thank you for this video. This is the easiest and cheapest technique I have seen before. You said that if you don't use 100%sillicone it will stick to the tray. Even if it sticks will it still work and then maybe I could bin the tray after I have poured the resin?

Awesome! Thank you for this amazing video, I've heard a lot about using silicone like this to make a mold, but have had a hard time finding a good video and well explained way to make it. Is there a different way to make the base, though? Rather than use the self adhesive liner, can I use saran wrap that is very carefully flattened out? Or just put the silicone on a marble cutting board and leave it as is to re use the mold on? I have a nice marble cutting board I'm never going to use and it's just sitting around. It's quite similar to yours lol
