Protip: If you've got discount perks, and you're missing like 100-500 bucks; just buy some license plates. You buy with discount, and sell them for full price. It's tedious to sell them, but you can buy like 50+ at a time. Not tested with other parts.

The best way LITERALLY…. -Go to junkyard and buy a car -Wash the car inside and out -Hit the car with the welder -Replace all the glass and body panels SELL IT. PERIOD 💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰💰

I've got a really good method I accidentally discovered. NOTE: You will need a junkyard car for this and then a spare $6k or so. Buy the most expensive tire (Slicks), max out it's profile, size, everything to the largest it lets you. Do the same for one of the $180 rims. Put the tire and rim together, balance it, and put it on your junk car. Trust me, it will make you a lot of money. After doing it a few times, you will be able to do it with a set of 4 wheels and you'll literally be in six figures within an hour.

just to upgrade the delray custome to a fully 3 star car engine and tuned parts cost about 20k scrap parts i was going back and forth to the junkyard and buying all parts. took about 50k in all of junk to get that much for it

yeah there is a painting mission within the first 10 story cars but some people dont play the story and they just play... in fairness playing the story is the best way to unlock everything.

Once you have the repair stuff unlocked you can go to the junkyard and dig through the piles for any orange rims and repair those for some decent money, the bigger the rim the better.

its a good tip iv found thugh u can only repair anything that isnt red iv tried a red rim before but it wouldnt repair so i just scrapped everything off for my 3 star car

Also always sell things that cost more then 5 dollars, don’t scrap it, if you need scrap just buy from store items for 5 dollar it’s the same amount of scrap

@@Hybridsteel you can repair things that are 15% or higher, it tells you this somewhere in the game. I've also found that even on maxed stats, you can only repair certain types of parts, for example you can't repair exhausts, glass, air/fuel/oil filters, tyres, fuses, relays, etc. I stick to repairing body panels, rims, and mechanical parts like crank/cam shafts, engine blocks, and gearboxes. Strangely, alternators are repairable, obviously you're able to rewind them or something, not normal for a car mechanic.

One thing I found as well, find a car that all the body parts are there and not red. The lower the condition the better. Buy it, clean it, weld the frame, charge the battery, fix all the body parts and wheels, and turn the rotors. Just these few tasks at a total cost of $500 will net you a good paycheck due to the total overall improvement of the cars parts. You will get more with a total restoration but that will take more work and cost you a lot more for parts.

@@Hybridsteel Exactly my point as well, finding orange condition on everything is my main point, the most room for improvement. Even Orange parts in the junkyard/barn can net decent gains if you can repair them with minimal investment to buy them.

Car scrap Flipping by washing the vehicle outer and interior, adding scrapped steering wheel and chairs adds additional value, and of course the battery and welder options adds value to the car so much that a 3,000+ small boi scrapped car can be priced 2x the buying price XD

I make money without the battery. Wash exterior (car wash), wash interior (car wash), weld, re-panel, add licence plates, next car. You can get as many as six rust buckets at the junkyard. Your garage can hold 5 with the extra lifter so put one in the parking alley. I tried doing that flip with barnyard cars but you never make as much profit unless you rebuild the car or get a car model that doesn’t appear in the junkyard. Also with each rust bucket, inspect the parts for free XP. Glorious.

u can make more money yes but this guide was made without having to spend anything but the equipment that u have in ur garage,,, if the panels on the car are knackered (red) then u have to spend more money to buy new panels this guide wasnt about restoring a car this guide was to show you if you want to make moneyu without buying anything new.. anyone can buy a junkcar and buy new parts and repair but this wasnt meant to be that guide. I wasnt going to cover xp in this video as iv already coverd that in a tips video and ill be making a video dedicated to it as well Also washing the exterior of the car doesnt increase the value

@@Enigmaprince don't buy anything 14% or lower, you won't be able to repair it. Also some parts are irreparable regardless of condition, such as windows, exhausts, filters, etc.

Update info for welder. It now doesn't cost 500. It depends on the model of the car. It now costs 5% of the fully upgraded model.

The way I made money is to buy a very cheap car from the junkyard and strip it all renew the parts and resell it separately I made quite a bit of profit each time.

In the 2018 version it was a pretty long grind before you could repair frames to fully restore cars. Is this the same in this version?

The quick flip. Easiest way to make money so far I've found. Buy 5* cars from car auctions at a profit or at least break even. Return to garage. Sell for profit earn by parts condition bonus. No welding, detailing, parts repair, battery charging required. Can make 30-40k on one car with no work.

@@Hybridsteel I used this technique once I had like 100k to quickly raise my assests for other investments. It's really useful if you are trying to rush the upgrades and full restoration of cars. Buying 1* or 2* cars from auction (my pref Callope's or Supa's for profit vs time) are the way forwards, as most of the parts are repairable. Scrap yard cars require more investment in parts.

if you want to use mod get the mclaren f1. it does cost a lot of money to buy one ( 800 - 1.3m) you can sell it for around 1.3 m profit after washing and welding it. i sold a fully restored one for 10+ million

It seems like car restorations is where the real money is at. I wanna get going with it as soon as possible. I have most of the equipment, so it won't be long until i can start doing those. I didn't know you could earn that much profit simply by charging batteries and cleaning the car though.

@@Hybridsteel Yea. I just bought a car for like 7k at the junkyard, with a total budget of 21k. It was a Luxor Baronne (Cadillac looking sedan) I barely managed to do a full restoration, but once i finished it, i think i sold it for about 60k making a huge profit. This gave me more money to work on another restoration, etc. So it seems like getting the first restoration completed is the tricky part in early game. After that, you're pretty much set.

@@lacko623 Well i certainly used up the rest of my money restoring it. Not sure how many parts specifically. But i probably used around 15k on buying in parts. Body parts were expensive for the Luxor Baronne though. Stuff like the bumpers and the hood costed like 1k each. You're the same level as me. You should be able to restore the most expensive parts like the gearbox and engine blocks. I don't think you can restore any part that is under 15% condition.

Just go to the junkyard at level 5 with a car wash and find some parts at the junkyard for the car and maybe finish the body and make 1k plus in profit everytime

I play on ps4 and my best way to make money is flipping barn find cars. At first you need around 20k to get one but after you get that far it works. I'm at 50k and I have done 2. My first car I rebuilt the motor so it would run and I still made a 10k profit from it

washing the exterior does not help the cars value. i did on a live stream in front of people to show that is doesn't work.. washing the interior is the only form of washing that actually helps the value of the car.. and yep auction unlocks at level 10 so its best to crack on and play the game

blue points are salvage you can upgrade parts to make engine parts have more power or body parts to be worth more u use the porta cabin round the back of the main workshop to get salvage from broken parts to make good parts better.

Strip everything off and repair everything you can, put it all back and sell. Spend all Perk points on repair ones first

Once you get the ability to repair parts, You can make mega-craptons of creds by going to the junkyard and buying nothing but orange parts to fix, red stuff only if you wanna be scrapping to upgrade parts. Go there with 5 grand, buy 4 grand of junk, go with 20 grand and buy 19 grand worth - no matter how much save back a few creds to start repairs, repairing and selling body panels will pay for the entire trip, repairing the rest of the parts to sell is pure profit. Scrapping is VERY tedious with little ROI. Stick to the orange stuff.

Those tools also cost money to get them in the first place. It's not super easy to make money from zero, all the way up. I find this game particularly grind-demanding. I spent like hours on the game and I'm still out of money when I buy a new part for a car that I am building from scratch. Once I went totally bankrupt and it took me a lot of time to get rid of that situation. Tutorials don't show you how you buy tools either. It's a nice game but it needs a lot of YouTubing, learning curve is steep

What do you do when you spend all of your money and you have 100cr or less? I was in this situation once. I ended up just doing really cheap jobs like oil change until i got enough money. I was wondering if there was another option, or an option to save you from 0 credits.

the only way you can get out of absolute zero is doing liquids as thy cost nothing but their quite hard to find as ur looking for just that 1 bottle icon in the fix list

u cant do this anyways until u have unlocked the junkyard or the car auction and i do mention in this video you do need to unlock these items in order to do this.. By the time u have unlocked the auction house u will be able to do this... Making money at the start of the game is basically play the game., And my total of cash comes from a mod i installed and have remove dit since and reset my money.

not that i saw i washed the car and it didnt increase in value mainly coz ur not really improve the frame or interior of the car ur just washing it. but interior clean boom works wonders

I didn't know that, i thought washing the car helped in value thanks for that tip. It will save me some time im lvl 23 and this is my way of making money I go to the junkyard and buy the expensive cars such as the Supra, R34, F-Body, you know the good cars and not your everyday car like the Honda civic Steps 1. clean the car 2. Weld the car 3. Apply new body panels/ windows 4. Sell the vehicle Thanks to you i can apply your new tips to my strategy and gain a bit more cash. Also i had the battery charger but i never used thanks for that tip as well

so cleaning the interior increases cash and so does the frame and battery.. these are the 3 things id cover in every car to flip quickly..

yep im gonna be working on one on sunday xp is a bit like it was in cms 2018 though as its all about how many jobs you can do in say an hour but yes i will be working on it. also should be streaming so ill be talking about this then as well. should be saturday 7pm uk time thats when i normally stream atleast

Go to the auction and inspect every car. It isn't fun but it works. And the story orders are great with the cases you get when you finish also a chance to get a lot of xp.

Levelling is easy, take Jobb’s with working engine, invest in examination equipment. Test Everything including examine entire car, each car can yield 200 or so points xp. Do Jobb’s with break so you can test engine and do track

during a live stream when i was messing about i was testing changing the code to give money and so on which is where this save comes from. gonna be honest once you got loads of money its kinda pointless unless u have earnt it. now as this was early on when i was playing it i did go back to my original save and carried on with very little. the joys of testing things with a live stream.

The welder cost is set to the amount of repair and cost of car. Highest I've seen we 2350. Washing the car will increase the profit

its the "scrap number" so u can upgrade parts for better performance to up the value of the car ur working on or make it better for racing now.. mainly engine parts can be upgraded.

sorry for late reply... there is a shed round the back of the main workshop i think u have to unlock it and then u can upgrade parts. iv done a video on this in the past or atleast ithink i did.. as it was a long time ago..

as cheddy said use the welder it actually shows u in this video. .but if you want the body panel to be clean u either new panels or u can repair panels that are orange, yellow or green.. sadly everything thatis red is scrap

everytime iv tried to repair anything in the red it cant be done and i end up scrapping parts

I've unlocked all the upgrades can say that anything at or above 15% can be repaired while anything less cannot be repaired and is probably best to scrap for scrap parts or sell for pocket change. That being said, there are some parts that, no matter their condition percentage, cannot be repaired at all such as rubber parts like bushings and belts or electrical components like spark plugs and fuses. Though just have to be replaced outright.

Welder cost me 1500 to use, it's crap, I usually take it to the washing area and wash the car inside and out, sometimes it works

back when i made this video which was right at the start of the games release it didnt... but a patch or 2 later it did. and during my live streams while playing i was showing it then as well.. and in some of the videos i did for challenges i said it then thatwashing did increase value.. just the joys at the time it didnt.
