I watch many ableton tutorials and must admit that this video is one of the best when it comes to explaining why you do certain things and what you are trying to achieve. Great job!

Just absolutely love this track and became an instant fan of Fred Again. My compliments to your way of explaining all this and how fast you were with recreating this track. Subscribed!
I used the Fred Again.. garage bass line to sample the Amelia Lily track shut up (and give me whatever you got) and then filmed the visualiser of Amelia Lily on the video.
Got recommended this after watching the Fred Again BR, which was madness! Great walkthrough - this inspired track you've produced is approachable with plenty to learn from. It's sometimes demoralising when someone does a breakdown and their project is just unfathomable, but this is a brilliant mixture of accomplished sound design, solid mixing tips and hard-hitting sound. Subscribed - thanks!
This tune absolutely slaps. You nailed it man. In terms of future videos, I think you might've done a Ross From Friends one before, on his lofi house style - but I reckon it'd be a great idea to do one on his more recent style from the Tread album, especially with some of the glitchy fx and unusual vocal processing on there. What do you think?
Fantastic tutorial, thank you so much. Would you consider a Fred style vocal tutorial. Hope he pitches, manipulates and processes the vocal to create such cool effects. Thank you so much
I'm a little confused on some of the audio effect rack dynamics...for instance, why have the one rack that has a glue compressor as well as a clean sort of pass thru... isn't this the same as just putting the compressor at 50% wet or am I thinking about this wrong?
Hi mate great videos, I’m new to Ableton and finding it hard to find the perfect or best way to learn, do u have anything that could help me, a specific video or course ?
I offer 1-2-1 services at my Patreon if you’re looking to invest however there are 160 videos on my channel if you’re trying to keep costs down! My 10 tips video is probably a good place to start!
My guess is that he runs tracks with an edited version of his own songs on the CDJs and fires the one shots and vocal samples, sometimes drums off from the Maschine.
I mean this is more of a how to recreate the track by Fred Again.. - this video would have been better if you cross-referenced a few of his notable releases such as Cross Me with Ed Sheeran and a ton of his other more electronic heavy tracks. Also this track was produced with Swedish House Mafia and so this isn't necessarily Fred's own sound.
This is definitely Fred's sound what are you on about? G listen to his tracks he pretty much uses those same baselines and that vocal chop technique across the more dancefloor orientated tracks
The sound I took out the edit? It’s just a rising synth pad in serum +24 semitones in the matrix on global pitch, LFO set to a mute and unmute pattern and then drenched in reverb and kept low in the mix.
