How to make faux handmade paper Inspired by a tutorial from Treasure Books: • Faux Handmade Textured... Thanks for watching Noit Berkovich Facebook: / noitber Instagram: noitmyart
I am so impressed that when you use a technique that you learned from someone else you always say where you give them credit! It makes me like and admire you even more. Plus I really love your art.
Hi Noit! One of your subscribers came over and let me know about your channel and your video. Thank you so much for sharing. I am still watching the video, and your papers are amazing!! My gosh! I love all the different beautiful papers you made. I just love your take on it :)
Your paper is beautiful! I love your creativity. I have been watching Natasha's channel for over a year now and I too, always get such great inspiration from her. Between the two of you I have been inspired to make some of my own today. Thank you!!!
Doesn’t Natasha have an incredible channel for amazing inspiration! She’s also such a lovely person inside and out. What a beautiful group of papers! You did such an awesome job on all of them. Now I have to try to make my own papers. Thanks so much! ✨
Now all the saved paper napkins backs that i have will finally come in so handy. I knew I was saving them for a good reason, I originally thought of collaged pages with paper scraps but I like this so much more. I also like to create my own paper with them using stamps and Stazon ink. Awesome way to create and personalize your Journal pages or Ephemera. Thank you so much for sharing this very creative idea. I love that you give credit as to where the original idea came from.
@@NoitArt It's also so much easier and faster than what we used to do when we made it when I was younger. We used to soak paper until it desolved completely and then strained it to lay it down flat to dry and what a mess it made. This is so much better.
Thank you! I am new at this and I have learned some great ideas from you. I appreciate your having the patience using a language that is not your first language to reach more people.
Can’t believe all the ways, you have shown us how to make our own “fancy” papers. Thanks for all you share with us now and in the past. I still go back to past videos, when I need an idea and some good old fashion inspiration.
some more additions: Spices and herbs beyond their expiration date, very old newspapers that have browned, crumpled dead leaves, painted to stiffness spread out gauze, small pieces or snipped threads. If you plan accordingly and make the paper after a thorough housecleaning you'll have lots of art debris and a clean house!
Lovely papers! I have watched Treasure Books videos too and she has some lovely creative ideas.Thank you for sharing your ideas on making some beautiful papers as well.
Awesome papers. What a fantastic way to use ordinary printer paper and turn into something so beautiful. Thanks for sharing your fabulous ideas. You are terrific.
LOVELY papers! You have inspired me to try it! Your enthusiasm is infectious! Have to go see your next video and what you do with these beautiful papers!
I'm thinking the net they put around onions, too. Fabulous ideas, I love it. Thank you Noit. And the paper outsides from onions and garlic....never want to throw that away, but didn't know what to use it on....
I am so glad that you found Treasure Books too. I found her a week or so ago and loved that Faux Handmade Paper tutorial as well. Now reading your comments from viewers, I have more ideas to add to the "recipe". Hugs
Love Treasure Books and was intrigued by her technique for doing these papers. Yours are stunning also! Plus you gave a few more ideas of what can be used - I am always intimidated to try unknown or unused material in my crafts but not anymore. You ladies are so talented and so sharing!
Thank you Noit, This is such a fun, easy looking project! Years ago, I actually made handmade papers, and lets just say this looks so much easier, and a total time saver! Thanks to you and Natasha for sharing this awesome technique with us!!
I, too, fell in love with Treasure Books method of doing this, and I got addicted and can’t stop thinking about what else I could use....so you just fed that even further with what you used!! LOVE the cover you made...more ideas flowing now! Edited to add, I have also done this on tracing paper (2 sheets together), on watercolor paper, and other types, and used tissue paper and tracing paper on top of plain paper and they all come out fun! Thanks! 🤗
What a great technique, Ms. Noit! Thanks for all the ideas and tips on making these papers. A fun way to use up our old projects with a great outcome. Appreciate the video!
You are right ... making papers is addicting! I follow Natasa at Treasure Books as well so it was good you acknowledged her and her site. You are an amazing artist and a woman of integrity!
I had seen Natasha's video and loved the idea but you gave me even more to think about. I have skeleton leaves that I had no idea what to do with...no w I know exactly what I will do with them
OMG! I am Soooo amazed with these techniques!! I make bookmarks for my Church, this is going to really step it up quite a few notches!! Thank You, Thank You!!!

Hello Noit! I am watching several of your videos right now and have become addicted. You inspire so much creativity and fun for me/us! I love your techniques and art so much -- You are so talented and I am so grateful for the time you take to share it with us!!
This was a revelation! Can’t wait to try it and use some of my “stuff” in a new way. Will also try used, shredded dryer sheets which I have used for texture in other ways. Thanks to both of you!
Noit, thanks for sharing your beautiful papers. They are lovely 😊!!! My fingers itch to do this work. We up here in Northern Illinois need some play with paper during these long winter months. Fun and very useful too for our journals. I watch Treasure Books also, so will get her video.
I just discovered your channel with this awesome handmade paper video. Thank you for sharing your talent. I look forward to checking out more ideas in your videos. ❤❤❤
Yes! Very addicting! I saw Natasa’s video awhile back and you have given me additional inspiration! (Like pot-pourri!). Also I like that you add spray and color and stamps! I went around the house and collected dried/dead leaves from my houseplants (they shed a lot lol) and it is perfect for this. I also may try colored tissue paper instead of napkin and see what comes out. TYFS! ❤️
I love stumbling upon older videos I have not seen seen yet and that are so inspiring! Really beautiful papers!! And so much easier and faster than real handmade paper 😆 Thanks for sharing, Noit!! I'll check Natasha's original video too... She's also such a wonderful and inspiring artist. 🤗💕

Amazing & easy to make. So many fun things to do with the paper...I.e. a background for a card (birthday, anniversary, etc.). I will definitely try this. I see the mesh as a lovely addition also...thank you dear Noit 👍Margalit
Very pretty! This would also be a great way to alter scrapbook papers that just don't work or you don't like. Lovely papers, thanks for sharing; take care!
Kristin -- what a great idea! We have a local Art Supply Exchange and I have been donating my unloved scrapbook pages there. Now I'll hold back a few for practice with this technique.

I’ve been looking for a way to make handmade paper. I just found ur channel and I am so impressed w/this technique. I will definitely be trying it. Thank u for such a wonderful inspiration. I also subscribed and will b watching ur other videos.
This a form of this art was really popular in the late 80-90's my friend and I was trying flowers like crazy, making paper and using papers with tissue over. To funny its coming back. Good job on your video, your papers are beautiful.
I'm thinking maybe dried herbs or cinnamon? They'd probably be a bit too smelly though. I will definitely be giving this a try soon. Love your book cover too. 🤩
@@ullazitabinder2091 I grew a lot of parsley but before I snipped it and put into a freezer bag, I put a few sprigs aside to dry out to use in this project. Also I saved a bunch of zinnia and marigold seeds to use. Almost free supplies.
