Good call on the dagger interaction being OP, very overlooked mechanic. They should make so that it only works that way whenever you ONLY have a dagger or dagger+lantern equipped. Good video!
the funniest thing to me was when every single fighter player ever said ''weapon mastery is kinda strong i think it should get nerfed from -10% phys to like -20%'' then ironmace proceeds to buff it for no reason and since then fighter was the better ranger.
Congrats! You invented rondel dagger. I am in a loss of words already, why devs still think that daggers are well-balanced weapon? If a kitchen knife easily outdamages huge pieces of metal like longsword or maces then why even care using anything else?
@@trozersMaybe the fact that they dont slow you when you attack is also a questionable thing. I think, if they realy want to keep daggers high dps - high risk weapon it should be changed in the core. Like gaining a significant debuff to damage if you attack player in the front, but the same as now (or even bigger) damage if you attack in the back. This also would help rogue to take only the role he supposed to: killing you easily if you ignore him in a group fight or sneaking up on you, killing less geard classes in seconds. Right now rogue can fight quite well even with a fighter in an open melee combat which is ridiculous.
I’ve been a LS fighter and kept having trouble against the ranged magic classes. However, this build is a warlock killer. Killed more warlocks today than the last 100 hours of playtime. I keep up with the phantomizing the just stabby stab stab
Other than against LS users do you ever use the dagger or do we just hit with the short sword? i.e. we don't alternate swings for some kind of combo or anything?
There's no combo, it's mostly personal preference. Short sword has more reach, good for spacing or chasing. Dagger is better if you are up close inside their hitbox, or against longsword/halberd.
Not at all. Most people I fight in -24 have 100+ fame. I mostly see new players in my -124 and 124+ lobbies. I think there is a hidden MMR to keep new players safe.
panther and vigor skins and white gear? why are 3k hour players minmaxing 24gs lobbies, boys? they were meant for new player onboarding…. according to killfeeds you didnt kill pvpers, but timmies.. we are at 18k pop 4th week in after wipe, do you all still think this was a good idea? actually crazy
I respectfully disagree. 24gs is meant for reducing gear gap, and many players prefer this. 24gs is filled with bloodthirsty PVPers. Despite me playing 95% of my games in medium to high gear, this content is helpful to a large portion of the player base. The goal of this video is to help close the information gap between veterans and newer players. Think what you want, but I do not kill new players. I help them out, or I leave them be and pass on through. It sounds like you and I both agree that we should be helping out the newer players to keep our player base healthy.
Lizard is best if you need more armor, I'd aim for at least 10% Physical Damage Reduction. Lycan is better if you have at least 10% PDR already, as it gives you HP. Both are strong because they give headshot protection and free stats without costing gear score or the move speed loss that most helmets do.
