Nah u right, this gotta be one of the worst songs ive made in a while but like the video is for people who dont know shit abt making music so obv their not gonna make anything good when they first start out so i wanted to be realistic and not use any “complex” stuff like outside plugins and different types of instruments
everything is kinda offkey. the bass ain't bassing, it doesn't add any lows and it's too crazy. the chords don't work with the """"bass line"""" and the arp adds TOO MUCH dissonance to the bass line and sounds like a mess. the vocals don't work good either because they're crazy at times and overlaps with the bass line... it's not really pleasant to listen to. I'd recommend watching Longestsoloever's tutorial which exactly explains why this video is a "bad tutorial". Though, i know it's hard to make music anyway so this probably sounds way better than my first vid. not trying to attack you, man
i have a slight problem when i make a new pattern, go to the piano button, and add a new instrument to it from the pack, it changes the other patterns to the same instrument.... but i want the patterns to have different instruments! what do i do???

you should make a more in-depth tutorial! (I already know how to make music, but this advice alone only helps them with the patterns/instruments.) I noticed you were talking about how to make a chord, but your not explaining as to why that chord sounds good. your not explaining much at all, really. Just some preset methods of making a basic song. Honestly, you should have went on about how to keep things in-key, how to mix up the chords, how your able to make actual good custom melodies instead of just following the black and white keys. also tell them how to arrange a song properly at the minimum. The only thing this tutorial is good for is some tips, but don't rely on this to actually start making music. just please make another tutorial that goes more in-depth in making music as a whole, that would be so helpful to other beginners out there.
Maybe i should actually try again, i get the vids poping off on how to make digital music again maybe this is gonna be the right one after goddamn 3 years of struggling to make music hahah

can you make the vid louder? or make your next vids louder? I had to bring my volume up to 60 to be able to hear the music and your voice (I normally can hear vids at 20 volume)
