They are fun and add that stunning look to your Resin projects.
Supplies:
Alum crystals

Polymer clay / Air dry clay /Apoxie sculpt clay
you can use any of these they all work equally good.

Thanku so much Let me clear 1 thing,,, it's in my mind if I put air dry clay after drying it into alum solution my model will be melt 😔😔😔 And a seller also tell me the same thing... But in your tutorial it's not melt in solution. Please tell me yiu are using the common air dryer clay?? Or it's special

Nice. Some questions: you said air dry clay, but list polymer clay, which one again? And how much alum crystals to how much water? Thank you ❤

Hi thankyou so much you can use airdry clay, polymer clay or apoxie sculpt as well . I added around 3 handful of alum in to 500ml of luke warm water. The is to make is as concrete as possible.

You can use any thing that is porous also next week I am sharing how to grow crystals in a glass dish so no clay needed.

Wait how does your clay not dissolve in that liquid? Did you seal all sides of it? air dry clay will get wet and dissolve. I would think paper clay does the same thing.

Hi I use das clay here for this i just wood glue inside it might act as a barrier so mine didn't dissolves otherbthen this I recommend apoxie sculpt and polymer clay.

No that will not be suitable for growing all the alum will fall off eventually.
