This super easy way to use up some fresh strawberries. It is refreshing and loved by everyone.
1 pie crust ( graham cracker or baked pie crust)
1 C sugar
2 Tbsp corn starch
1 C water
1 pkg (3oz) strawberry jello
2 lbs - fresh strawberries, washed and hulled
in a small sauce pan mix sugar, water and cornstarch. stir until the mixture thickens and is the consistency of syrup. (3-4 minutes) Remove from heat and add jello, stir until dissolved. Allow to cool for at least 30 minutes.
Add strawberries to the cooked, cooled crust and spread them evenly. Pour the glaze evenly over the strawberries. Cover and chill for 2-3 hours to allow the glaze to set up. Top with whipped cream and enjoy!
