Hey Charlie I Marinate My Pork Chops In Apple Cider Vinegar & I Season Them With Lowry's Seasoning Salt With Pepper Overnight I Take My Chops. Out Of Fridge 30 Minutes To Take The Chill Off Them Before I Fry Them I Use Canola Oil When I Fry Them. Then Flour & Fry Chops It Makes. A Pretty & Brown Crust & Very Tasty & Seasoned Pork Chop Too.Serve With Pinto Beans & Rice DELICIOUS!!

I thought I would never taste true Southern pork chops again. I made them last night for my family. When we sat down to eat and I had my first bite I teared up. Felt like I was holding on to her apron strings again. Thank you for that memory. Oh, and was there any left over for me to carry fishing the next day-Nope! I made these for dinner tonite. In fact I am eating one right now. Instead of the poultry seasoning I used Johnny's chicken and pork seasoning. These pork chops turned out very delish. And I love the golden brown color.

Yesterday I doubled your recipe for black eye peas & put half of'em in the freezer for new years day. My mother in law parboiled them, then the dry self rising flour coating with seasonings and fryed in black iron pan with grease from the grease can on back of stove that had bacon fat in it. Good God ! And if there was left overs breakfast was pork chop between Sunbeam bread. Heaven !!!!

My background is Caribbean and American. My grandmother from the South used to lightly coat her pork chops with mustard before she seasoned them. Your chops look like hers.
