Good info. I've seen circle cutters on amazon. I'd use neodymium magnets that can be stronger and slimmer.

I enjoyed watching you. I just made a bunch of these for a craft show I am doing. I had a little bit of a problem with the magnets I bought. Little small and too much of the back was showing . Since I sell these, I want the backs to look as pretty as the front. I found using my 1 Inch round hold punch worked pretty good for punching out the designs. I also put a paper backing in a solid color before gluing on the magnet. Just looks a tad cleaner and more professional but I loved your magnets...so cute. Also I am lazy I just put the modge podge on the glass gem itself and smeared it around with my finger. If I can get a good picture with my old granny flip phone, I will try to show you a few that I've done. Keep on crafting !! You do a wonderful job. Ignore the cranky spankys. They're not worth even reading.

I made several of these for a family whose 1 year old daughter has EVERYTHING! I always try to go original item rather than another Target toy or whatever. Nothing against Target or any retailer, I actually did purchase my mod podge from Target. I just think why buy something everybody has already has.
