thanks for sharing this. Amasing this is possible, I wanna a try in silver, fusing it too. Now facts. :-) It is only possible to get less than an 23 x 4 mm x 0,5 mm out of 0.77 g of almost 23 kt gold Your technique is real impressive and the way the tools are used too.

Wow! That’s a genius technique! Thank you for sharing! Where can I get the tool used to reduce the size of the spheres at the end? (Circular disks with graduating channels?) thank you.
00:11 when alloying metals, always first melt high temp metal - in this case gold and then add other metal - silver. to get a good mix. always add metals in a descending order of melting temperature.
Koi cheez banana kitna mehnat ka kaam hai. Khareed kar bechna bada aasaan hai lekin jo aap bech rahe ho usko banaoge tab aapko pata chalega mehnat aakhir kya cheez hai..
and at 4:09 the ball size reducing tool? I have searched everywhere on the internet and cannot find this tool! please let me know where to get it. thank you
There is no need to weld just set both the plates on each other then use borax powder to fill up extra tiny gap between the plates I will upload another videos for bigger spheres :)
May I ask what you mean? This is for making HOLLOW spheres. Though it does seem a bit tedious, and would probably be faster to just make and dap 2 discs to solder or fuse together to make a whole sphere with the only other step to finish would be well. To finish by polishing etc. However, I find this to be very fascinating to see the expansion of the ball when heated. When I make hollow beads, I always leave a tiny hole for air/gas to escape to avoid any explosions. Lol now I am curious to try this method out. Also, some people also like to get as much out of their precious metals, especially gold without having to use a lot by making solid pieces. And some consumers cannot afford solid gold and like to still get the look without the cost if it were solid. My first pair of gold earrings were hollow balls because I was young and my mother didn't worry too much if I lost one or both.lol
