How to make GREAT Bomber Seats - Part 1

I show you how I build the best bomber seats from one piece of metal, with no welding required! These bomber seats will be used in the 1951 Chevy 3100 rat rod truck that I'm currently building. In part 2, I will show you how to make flared or dimpled speed holes with simple tools, no commercial dies required!

Div, again you have taken complicated and made it simple. Having built a few bomber seats myself, I wished I had been able to view your video beforehand., I would haved saved myself a bucket load of time, let alone one hell of alot of frustration. My hat is off to you brother.

Dov, I am watching this in incorrect order. I watched (Several times for some, too cool) but, seeing the finished bomber seats installed while you are adding tail lights or what not, but I thought these were salvage from airplanes or jets! I am watch #2 to see how these take the shape I am used to seeing already. I love the simple jig welded, indexed with stops for bending. I would guess you bought the sheet metal 1mm (19 gauge) but I am jealous if you have a local scrape yard to pick from. Metal has gone sky high as everyone from the steel mills, distributor, over the road transportation, fuel cost (Today, Diesel is $5.00 US per gallon) to the seller. It cost $0.13 cents per sq ft to make, but sells for $2.53 to get it. Sad how many fingers have found into your wallet. Hope you are well, ate good food and had a great time making today's memories and have a cold one for me! DK, Omaha. We take or memories with us!
