Thank you 😊 I get it from AliExpress, Amazon and Etsy. I use fine point blade for the faux leather and deep point blade for glitter fabric. (I have never tried fabric blade, so I don’t know 🤷🏼‍♀️)

I purchased that fabric before and for some reason the hot glue drys up so fast that when i layer the pieces it doesnt hold. What am I doing wrong?

Hello. It depends on the kind of hot glue you used. Mine holds it pretty good. Try to use super glue, it will definitely help you!

This may be a silly question but when you lay your fabric on the mat does it have anything on it or does it literally stick to the mat for cutting?

The fabric sticks to the mat, because the mat has a special sticky layer that prevents fabric from sliding away.

Cricut Design space has some templates, but they are pretty simple. I have a variety of templates in my Etsy shop - Miss O Designs

How do you cut the Glitter ones? Do you still flip it upside down?

I cut glitter fabric with deep point blade glitter side up + add heatnbond to the back to get a better grip between fabric and mat

@@MissOCrafts perfect. Thanks so much for the reply. I figured it would be glitter side up so it's not ruining the mat but everyone does things different so I wasn't sure. I haven't heard of heatnbond. Unless I'm having a brain fart. I'll be sure to check it out. Thanks again.

it's a holographic faux leather, I got it from Hobby Lobby, but you can also get it from AliExpress or Amazon

Can you cut regular faux leather with the cricut explore 2 or just thin faux leather?

Yes! I cut it on a ”Denim” setting, With a ”more” pressure setting.

I just checked their website, they say it can cut only paper-thin faux leather, mostly it's for vinyl, iron-on and paper. I would recommend you to check their website for more information.

It's a holographic faux leather. I got it from Hobby Lobby. But they also sell it on Ebay and AliExpress.

I have a Cricut Explore Air 2, so I use a Fine-point blade for faux leather, and deep point blade (I bought it separately on Amazon) for glitter fabric.
