Yes, I know that isn't a selfmade Kick which I used to show the kickpattern, but if I would've used my own kick to show it people would just start sampling it... Although in the end result I used my own kick ;)
Just getting into making music and learning from others and this is banging mate hope you made it into a full track this is the best I've heard this hits hard I know I'm late but better than never ❤️
mainstream EDM: yeah about 3-5 layers is enough for a lead, and 2-3 for chords hardstylle: nah nah nah you got 8 for chords, 8 for leads take it or leave it
dude this video is probably the best tutorial I have seen yet like this is amazing and its a beautiful track!!!! thank you for this!!!! you got my subscription for this!!!!
Amazing talent! I'd love to be able to create my own tracks. What do you recommend for complete beginner? Is there any apps or software you'd recommend to get started with?
Inform yourself a bit about the most popular DAW's and decide which one to go for. And then it's really just learning and learning , which means sacrificing a lot of time and having a ton of motivation! RU-vid is a great place to learn ;)
Well, everything about music is to make the genre that fits you and feel the most you. Like i love hardstyle but i make hiphop music cuz it feels more like me. It all depends dude. And like Trye trying to explain learning is a tool, but time will tell. Cheers both of you
Personally I would just buy a launchpad and get the Ableton Live Lite that comes with it. It's a pretty nice tool for organization and the limitations can be worked around. DAW's can be expensive so start small and work your way up.
@@svod206 the first hardware (besides a good PC) should not be a Launchpad. (My opinion) Buy a Midi Keyboard instead ... maybe with some launchpads included. There you get Ableton Lite too, but you can play own melodies without Drawing Midi with your Mouse ... its much time saving and you can straight jamm around with all that cool stuff going around in your head xD Yes you have to learn a bit playing keyboard but playing some chords and Melodies shouldn´t be the problem at all. For example and for a bit cheaper start maybe choose an Alesis V49 ... if you have more space on your Desk than you can choose also a bigger one with more Launchpads and effect Knobs ... But anyway ... Alesis V49 is a Good Midi Keyboard for its price. (Just for example, it´s the one i start by myself with) And the www. is full of Free VSTi´s / VST Plugins to begin with it. Sorry for my bad english ;)
This is really cool! Do you released it yet? I saw your reply to other peoples' comments, but i think you should add it to descriptions, so peoples know that it's released. Good job.
how did you repeat the kicks without them sounding choppy. I'm using beatlabs at the moment to get the hang of all this, I just really want to make a hardstyle song to "sanctuary" from kingdom hearts
Nicht mein Genre, aber bis auf dass der drop im Vergleich zum build Up viel zu laut ist (kann aber auch gut daran liegen, dass du das im Video jeweils eingefadet hast oder so) ist das ganze stabil produziert, weiter so :)
great , thank u !! which synth is the best for leads? maybe u got some free presets? i just need to make 1 free track and upload it for ppl :) also bass is an issue for me , need a very smooth one))
How to you get all those sounds into one sound? Idk if that makes sense but at 1:20 ish, you have like 7 or 8 solo sounds that you put into ONE sound. How can I do that in ableton?
@@Trye haha thats totally fine, I mean I kind of figured it out on Logic Pro X, I guess I'm mostly just struggling with finding all the right layers. Like so far I've gathered I have to buy Serum to make them
@@svod206 I know this is hella late but use an instrument rack and either pick a few instruments that fit your needs or take the extra step and create your own.
what plugin do you use to make the leads? is there one shot packs I can download instead? I have screetches, are they the same or used as something else? I used to listen to hardstyle as a kid, now wanna get into making it, I need to start right back at square one. I make trap beats but always use samples, I have no knowledge of sound design lmao
Im begining to make hardstyle and hardcore using lmms but a friend of me has fl studio to make trap music i want fl too but i dont want to buy the full package because its too expensive do you have Any tips om what version i Should buy and which plugins?
no you don't I just got used to using all of them and it makes my life easier and my workflow faster but you can always use less and get the same result
Either because of your mixdown or the Limiter you're using on the Master. Play around with attack & release and you will see that it will sound cleaner. But be careful, it can distort really fast!
