It is possible to make it into a jumpsuit, you can either add a bodice/top above the waistband or attached the top directly to the waistline of the trouser

I was actually contemplating adding pockets to the trousers, decided not to so I could focus on the main feature of the trouser. However, you can add pockets to yours
I dont like Harem pants, but this came out nice. Love the fabric print, but I feel trousers like this are better on knit etc for the drape. Love your videos. 👌🏾
I am assuming there was a reason you didn't just put one leg of the pants inside of the other leg, (one right side out and one wrong side out), to sew the crotch seam and I am interested in your reasoning for not doing so. I love the pants and the fabric. I would like to try this pattern. Glad to know I can use my pants sloper to start with! Thank you for sharing this sewing tutorial!
