This video is a guide/tutorial about how to make hay in Farming Simulator 19 (FS19). It also covers how to grow grass and briefly explains about field prep including plowing/cultivating, sowing and fertilising. It shows you different types of mowers for mowing and how to mow the grass, how to use a tedder for tedding the grass (which turns it into hay), how to windrow using a windrower and different ways of collecting the hay using a baler and loading wagon.

btw...using the "fast bale" and one single mower in the front...will be faster, but to move...because the amount of work will increase...number of passes.

Grass is the money that the game gives you, but few collect this small profit before anything else, especially in the "no man's land" map. I remember in fs13...a tractor, a grass grinder in the front and the baler in the back. Going all over the map, where the grass was free.... After several evolutions of the game...grass is still very profitable. The "follow me" mod is a great tool. Detail: The "fast bale" that you have in the DLC is good, but it is slower than the "balewrap" of kunh, because it does not matter the speed of displacement itself ... but the ability to "collect" the grass in relation to volume and speed. And the crucial factor, both stop the tractor to "eject" the finished balewrap. However...the vicon fast bale...by virtue of what it can suck up...limits speed according to volume. While the other $76,000...manages to be more efficient and faster, even making 2 stops. One to release the bale and another to eject it. While the other stops only to eject it...but reduces the speed drastically. Using the 9.9 meters big krone and the follow me with a tractor behind... the difference is evident. And using the 3 grinders in the front and the baler in the back with a strong tractor...slows down the production speed. The ideal is to use the (follow me) and the tractors with the implements than all in one. To synchronize the stop with the ejection of the ready and produced bale...on a 4k weight scale...the speed is the same for both models of bales. In other words...what determines this synchronizmo is the speed of displacement of the grass grinder in front. If it is too fast...the follower loses track. And by programming it to run at a speed of 12km/h to 15km/h you can keep the set in "AI" mode by hiring an employee. and a distance of 45 meters from the vehicle in front. Remember...all references were using the big krone and the 3 grass grinders that fit...vario8 from pottinger. the mod that has the row adjustment. To make HAY... someone just says Hi...or hey...and I answer: HAY! just kidding... To make hay...I use a tractor with the 3 grinders in the front and the tedder in the back, but with a longer length than the grinders, because in the curves, it has more reach. After...when making the line or the row...in the sequence the follow me with the tractor making the bales, usually square bales for hay and straw. to give myself the luxury and ease of using the "autoloads"...I made a farm on the map in man's land with a field of cultivated grass that produces over 900 bales at a time. After collecting a crop one by one... I promised myself...if only to make the bales with 500 liters each and take them by hand...but using frontloaders...never again. apart from the other thousands of times in the other versions and maps...but honestly, autoloaders are a gift in this game. thanks to the modders.

Some interesting facts and ideas there buddy, thank you. I don't do as much baling as I should really but have done a few methods that you mentioned. Unfortunately on console we haven't got 'follow me' which I think is a fantastic mod/idea. That would save a lot of travelling and work. I made a lot of small hay bales on my No Man's Land series, stacked them all neat and tidy by hand. When I loaded back into the game to do the next episode they had all disappeared! I've no idea why. Yes autoload trailers are a life saver

@@FarmSimSnowy Really!? no follow me on console...sorry, I didn't knew it. hehehe...only now I reach the episode 7 from your No man's land serie... I think that I am on a frosty fever...lol.

I believe that was "Mod Test Map" It's not a bad map and was kinda set up for testing things like this. It has an update which added another map to it called "American Grasslands"
