I am very mindful of Not adding any type of sweeteners and I would Not advise anyone to use Agave Syrup or any "Sweeteners or Artificial Sweeteners" at all. I am carful of what Organic fruits I use because of the sugar content. Not all cinnamon is birb safe >>> Cassia/Chinese cinnamon contains high levels of a toxic blood thinner called coumarin that can cause severe, even deadly, liver complications in parrots. A high quality Organic Ceylon Cinnamon is what I use. I also chop up some Organic leafy greens so they get a little bit of everything. Great video and I can see how much you love your birbs! I hope this information might be useful to some viewer. The issue with this video is that Viewers might think they can add other artificial sweeteners like I read in the comment section, Stevia or use Sweetened coconut milk? It's also important to know what type of Oatmeal to use.. I'd recommend Organic Steel Cut. I donate my time by making organic food at our local birb sanctuary. I just want to put this information out there, please don't take this as me being a mr. know it all. I just have a passion for parrots and I love that you love them too. 💜💜💜

I know the birds will 😍 this for Breakfast.while traveling for my 1st time in a van.I ended up in Quartzsite Arizona to have solar installed,a week later I was Offered a Holiday job,by the owners.Now a month later 7 Macaws And 1 Amazon parrot a few bites.I am in ❤️with every single one of them,They are All rescues.Its going to be hard when I leave at the End of January 😥

O just love your cast members. My girls love oat meal with water and these mixed fruit and nut textures. The almond milk and coconut milk is a great idea. Agave is another new one for me. I’m vegan, my oatmeal is just soy milk and oats with frozen berries and brown sugar, but before I add the sugar I take some out for my conure, his name is Frankie. If you want to see him his insta is theconurefrankie :)

hello! im a new subscriber and also soon to be parrot owner. i found your "living with caiques" video very informative and helpful and was wondering if you would make more of such videos with your other birds since you are a person with a lot of experience with many different types of birds. its very hard to find such information on their behaviour which sadly leaves me thinking they are all similar when they are obviously not. lots of love and i hope you have a great new years celebration!

Wow another great video! Oatmeal is so yummy! Do you know if stevia is safe for parrots? I had asked about toys last video. I have a spunky sun conure. He loves to shred things, and I have him a lafeber nutriberry wrapped in toilet paper yesterday. He really made a mess of it and enjoyed tearing it apart! I checked out jungle toys, but couldn’t find anything besides a Facebook page.

Can I give this to my cockatiel? Btw am I allowed to use Quaker Oats instead. My cockatiel eats Quaker Oats as small snacks sometimes.
