I've never personally tried hummus before, and I wasn't really sure exactly what it looked like until I saw this video. I know my mom really likes it so I think I'll try it and incorporate it into my diet if I like it. I love Taboule Salad from this same company.

For those who really like hummus, but think it's too expensive, or just want to save money, try making your own from dry garbanzo beans. I make a batch from three pounds of dry beans, which makes just over a gallon of hummus. Costs me about eight bucks at the most. I like it for breakfast spread thickly over toasted flat bread.

at 4:21 when they're panning up the shelves of hummus you can see a product on the left with a white label that says "simply enjoy". If you live in the North east or have Stop and Shop supermarkets, you'll know that Simply Enjoy is S&S's store brand. SO there's officially no reason NOT to buy the more expensive ceder's Brand. I'm sure The company is damn glad that slipped out!
thats so strange because i made hummus for the first time the other day - i kno how simple it is but i always bought low fat hummus - its good n u get so much more for ur money
jews made the dip in middle eastern countries too .. the dip is doesnt give all it's credit to the arabs, other nations made hummus too ( i think even in the roman era) and if you say jericho mayeb you mean to jericho in judea and samaria it's a more correct term for the much ancient times...
Eastern Turkey Syria Palestine Israel Lebanon and Jordan all are Hummus breakfast addicts me included so I guess the Fertile Crescent is the ancestor of Hummus. I must say the best I had was in Lebanon.
again a mileading statement which is half true , you are talking about hummus which is chickpeas not that could have been imported from india though irrilevant or could have been in jericho palestine 9000 years ago , but that happens to be the legume not th dip , NOT THE DIP!! the dip is what am talking about ,and thats palestinian syrian or lebanese , not need to argue this as jews in israel admit to this , I can give you a few links proving this
