Hi Ava! Its a free / random song from the youtube creators platform. If you are still interested, I'll look up the name but I'm thinking you'll find plenty of more interesting tracks in the royalty-free music of youtube creators platform!
Im trying to rotate a circle with bubbles around it, i designed everything in after effects with shape layers. It doesnt work with your expression. Is it necessary to create design in illustration to make this thing work?
not necessarily @oldtimer666 Are you sure they are seperate layers? All parented to 1 layer and then the expression should go on rotation of all child layers. It should work on any type of layers. If you need more help. Please DM me on instagram? @francis.j.m
@@FrancisJMotionDesigner All layers are separate, the only difference is i have a windmill kind of a chart and each blade has some text written but its getting rotated with every rotation
Hi, I'm getting an expression error when connecting the separate layers to pick whip to the rotation null object. Would you know what is causing this and how to fix?
First, you need to parent all icons to the null layer. Hope you got that part right ---------- Then just be careful with this next step because this is where you could get errors: 1.Reveal the ROTATION property of null so you can see it by hitting 'r' on keyboard 2. You need to alt/opt + click the 'rotation' property of icon to reveal its pickwhip 3. then use it to parent the 'rotation' property to the reveaveald 'rotation' property of the null(and not the null layer itself, be sure its being parented to its rotation so that the expression appears) 4. add '*-1' after the code 5.paste the code to rotation property of rest of the icons
@@FrancisJMotionDesigner Hi, okay so I pick whipped the layer expression to the rotation property of the null layer, I was pickwhipping the expression to the null layer itself before. However I don't get any rotation at all, I see the rotation values are moving on all my layers now but nothing is visually happening. Any idea why it's reacting like this?
