Finially a perfect and easy video, thank you so much!!!! You have no idea how many times I searched for easy dumpling videos. Thank you for using mugs.
I’m adding this to my New’s Eve braai menu😍 and I’m keeping taking it into the new year because life in South Africa requires us to know how to. Thank you so much❤
Just got off the phone with tech support and a young woman from South Africa now in Atlanta. Talked about thanksgiving what dishes my Italian, German, Arabic, Jewish, African-American family members have added to the Thanksgiving table. Asked her what she'd add if she married my nephew. She said: steambread. Promised her I'd add it, and I will. Thanked her for making America great by being an immigrant as all my folks were. Can't wait to make this!!!
I used: 2 cups cake flour Pinch of salt 5g instant yeast 2 tablespoons sugar 1stp melted butter/ margarine 250ml warm water Update: came out soft but with a yeasty aftertaste
I used Sasko cake flour but you can use any brand for as long as it’s not Self Raising flour. Grease the cups inside only from bottom to top, not outside.
