@garzadidthat I figured out it was bc the ground needed more subdivisions, the bigger it is the more you need. Hope it helps

so does this only work for small surfaces then? i tried with a bigger model and the wrinkles arent noticeable at all :/@@silver7706

how you can blend the rain?

Do you mean blend some rain droplets shape with the plane, you just change the render object from hollow to object and assign any shape for the rain( lowpoly sphere with some stretching should do fine). you can use that in any file by appending the objects ( the rain, the particle system and the dynamic paint) to that file once you need it.

So It looks great in the viewport, but when I render I do not see the wave with anywhere near the definition int he viewport
