I love these videos 💜 i don't buy any of the products any more. I make everything for myself and even my husbands hair. I was already making soap but this channel has helped me venture off to make many more products.
Scientist here 👋🏾, I’ve been OBSESSED with every last one of your videos! The careful formulation combined with your very knowledgeable background on the uses, caveats, and benefits of each product has blown me away. I made your simple Shea butter recipe with just fractionated coconut oil and my skin loves every scoop of it. I’m aiming to try the oatmeal recipe soon. So excited for what you have in store for your channel! I appreciate your craft 💕
I work in the field of cosmetic research and development, I feel your videos are very good and interesting. Thank you for making videos like this. Hope you create more videos. Love from Vietnam
Thak you so much Elise!! This video is a TREASURE 💖. After masterizing body butters, I imagined that it would be great if I could make Milk, Yogurt and Cream (I was familiar with milk and cream lotions while growing up in Africa, but not yogurt...). So happy that I found your video!! This is God sent, you answered my need🙏 Now I have to figure out how to make the next dairy product, cheese lotion!! Lol 😊 Love from Québec Canada 💖
That yogurt looks amazing! Thank you for what you do! I was making diy hair oils and sprays but I was scared to make lotions. Watching you broke that fear! I love your hair gel! I make that, your leave in conditioner and I will surely make this yogurt for the summer!
By God your videos are completely premium quality. Informative and well constructed. And to top it off, your voice is amazingly soothing. Good job. I’ll be trying some of these recipes and experiment
Thanks for watching! I have a few formulations geared towards sensitive skin that might be good to try, please see my Oat lotion: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3WJ4aJSSHEE.html and Non-comedogenic face moisturiser: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7v_HoWr4WfM.html 😊

Love the texture of the yogurt. I don’t feel like adding another emulsifier to my stash, so I’m excited to fiddle with my current emulsifiers to get a similar texture. I’m thinking I’ll do a blend of emulsifying wax nf, a bit of btms, and some Polysorbate to start. Maybe sub some aloe Vera gel or guar gum gel for water to get that lovely glide. Can’t wait to try out these recipes!
Thanks for sharing this video. I’m addicted to making lotions, creams, yogurts etc. I don’t know which consistency is my favorite because I love them all equally. Lol. I guess the lighter textures I like for summer and thicker creams, for winter.
A whole lot of awesomeness, lol! These are brilliant for summertime wear! That summer air will be here before we know it. In fact this next weekend we will be at 80 degrees! Straight from winter to summer, where did spring go, oh yeah that was last week! Jill
Love all your DIYs especially your oatmeal hair and Body Moisturizer… is it possible for you to do a Natural Lymphatic Cream. Thank You Very Much in Advance…🙏🏽❤
Lovely video, and appreciate that you give 3 variations of a theme, excellent work! I used to make spray lotions with the Glyceryl Stearate & PEG100 Stearate :P PS for aussie formulators, New Directions Australia sell the first 2 emulsifiers and the last one (Polawax NF Emulsifying Wax) you can get from Range Products in Perth or Aussie Soap Supplies 😁😁💕💕 Also how cute are those tiny milk bottles! 😂
@@kirstyla8 LOL fantastic! I made some as well and the formula is spot on and I love the yogurt so nice, I did add some silca microspheres that I got from Aussie Soap Supplies and it glide so well.
Love your voice and the information you give with your recipes. I've been curious as to where you purchase your equipment/utensils....they are so simple and cute.
Another great video! I'm wondering, have you considered selling wholesale for private label sellers? Otherwise, thanks for the great content as always.
Hi Elise ,you inspire me with your works, thank you so much.i want to know if you do training for those who what to start a small business on hair care products.i definately what to attend one if you do.please am honestly waiting for your reply.many thanks.
Hi Elise, this is fantastic ❤I made the body yogurt after trying so many other recipes this one is the best 🎉 I will like to know if I can put mica powder in it for coloring .. thank you for this wonderful recipe
Elise, can I use guar gum instead of xanthan gum? I just brought guar gum for the conditioning bar recipe xD. And I couldn’t find Vegetal wax (in Amazon). Can I use BTMS 50? Thanks 🙏! Love ur videos and recipes!
Hello. Just started thinking about diy my own beauty product and while hopping from one video to another I landed on your videos. They were so refreshing and it is all beautifully explained and made.I have a concern though. Can I replace fractionated coconut oil with undefined virgin coconut oil? That’s actually what I have at home
hi Elise. Compliments for bringing out such wonderful, easy to understand, visually appealing and informative tutorials. thank you very much for sharing your knowledge. I had a quick question.. Is it okay to use some home made oat milk in the water phase?
I keep hearing to be mindful of using moisturizing products that contain alcohol due to it being a strain on your skins barrier. Asking your thoughts for some additional clarity
Hi wholelise, I was wondering if you could figure out the recipe of Facetheory Supergel Oil-free Moisturiser And purito b5 re-barrier cream. I love those moisturizer and I can't find the recipe anywhere. Thank you very much for your content. I always follow your recipe. I Love your web
Girl, I was missing you 😢 Love it, thank you Don't have cetearyl alcohol. But I have Btms 50 and cetyl alcohol and stearic acid. Can I use any of this? Don't be a stranger ❤️
Btms 50 is 50% behetrimonium methosulfate and 50% cetearyl alcohol. Cetearyl alcohol is a blend (usually 50/50 but ratios vary by producer) of cetyl and stearyl alcohols. I say all this to say…you can sub for cetearyl alcohol pretty easily with your ingredients no matter what function you’re looking for. If you want it as a coemulsifier, the btms50 and cetyl alcohol make great 1:1 substitutes. If you want a thickener, any of the three you mentioned will work, just be careful with the stearic acid as I personally find it crazy thickening so I use soaringly until I reach optimum thickness. I personally like doing 50g trials of various ratios to find what I like and use that as a ratio for my full recipe
At what point would you add a colorant in and what one would you use? I have red moroccan clay coming in and it made me wonder if that could work out 🤔?
Absolutely love your videos! Is BTMS & Cetearyl Alcohol the same? I'm thinking it's not. Is there a difference between Cetearyl Alcohol and Cetearyl Alcohol NF?
