I'm a vet with some disabilities. I have been in the construction industry most of my life, but now it's proving more difficult for me. Decided to get my commercial fishing license this year and have a go at trying to make some money. at the very least fill my freezer. Appreciate your videos.
How's it going buddy??? I'm doing the same thing. I have about 40,000 invested. The local fishermen said they make between 60 and 100000. since my boat cost about a third of theirs and I will use about a third of the gas, and fish about a third of the time, I should be able to make about a third of the full-timers Do-Right??? Is there anything wrong with my logic? There's probably a curve in the equation somewhere.
You know you can live a very good life if you just make 70 or 60 dolars a day because 70x30=2100 and 60x30=1800 you gonna get around this money per month
Great plan Brant I was always raised to never settle for one job. Always keep pushing! Hot sure how it is in Florida but in California life is pretty expensive especially in the Los Angeles Area. I have recently started working for someone involved in the fishing industry and i cannot wait to start achieving goals in what i do!
I dont think you would want to be taking fishing lessons from the guy having to eat ramen noodles. If i lost my job and was hungry I'd go dig up some worms under a rock and catch some gills. Like that analogy so dumb for a fisherman lol
Great video Brant! A buddy of mine and I are pursuing a new venture to have different avenues of income and hopefully grow and climb the ladder. I watch all of your vids, all are very motivational. Thank you
Dude, you are awesome! Great info! Thanks for being transparent. I have on my goal sheet to do a collab with you. I'm in Gulf Shores and have a VERY small Facebook and RU-vid following. But you are one of my biggest inspirations as to why I started it, so thank you! Peace!
Great vid Brant. It's always interesting to hear about the youtube "stars" and how they make their living. We all watch religiously, but we really don't get to know about you guys other than what your channel feature. Keep it up dude!
Video does help, Thank you. Its nice hearing some of the inside ,behind the scenes info in a successful persons life. We all should know that a big part of the word successful , in terms of financially, is doing what you love and earning a modest income for doing it .! So, Thanks again , very inspiring !
God bless mate, good luck. I want to get into commercial fishing, go fishing on the trowling boats, got fired this week and we moving to the Eastern Cape is in South Africa. But its so dufficult to get a spot and to get to know the right guys
i want to do the things u r doing. u have an amazing channel and I'm sure your business' r just as great. I'm 17 and not very confident about where to start. it would be nice to talk one on one w/ u. i appreciate the content. very useful
outstanding video.....love your contributions....you do a great job explaining things, and helping people understand how things are. thank you....will definately be contacting PMG in the future, getting ready to move to the gulf coast, and want to get into this type of social media.
Hello. My name is Edward. I started a channel about 5 months ago and I've put up a few short videos.. nothing quality as far as editing goes but I just wanted to ask how do you go about promoting your Channel best.
I'm not knocking you in any way!! You have built a business and with being hungry with aspiration you have created something special and successful, please know that I am looking for the same. But the only thing I guess I am knocking you about is the God willing comment. God didn't do nothing for you bro you and you alone have created this business, and was hungry enough to create other avenues. 90% of the people out there are content with creating a business, but not always hungry enough for other avenues. You should totally take all the credit for every bit of that oh, you are the one that made you get up in the morning and go for it not anybody else or any God. This is my belly button, everybody has one ..
This video needs a new title. One that says what the video is about! Finally at 7:58... NO KIDDING 7:58 decides to answer question I don't know much about making youtube videos but everybody now says "Watch to the end ... Watch to the end! No thanks if you can't be honest about content. He says yes but it's foolish! REALLY ... DADDY?
@@AnglerUpTv Glad it is working out. Certainly you have the personality, production skills, fishing skills etc... My point is not everybody will reach your level. How many even reach $500 a month after a year? How many can churn videos for 2 years with no real return?
Am I an idiot for thinking that selling fish could be a source of income from fishing? I mean, I know there is no competing against a commercial fishing boat with a bunch of nets and so on. But there has to be some kind of market for some types of fish at least? "Fish caught by local fishermen" or whatever is a selling point in many restaurants, maybe something like that? :P I know nothing about fish prices in Florida, or the US for that matter. But isn't there some fish that is worth throwing on ice and selling instead of releasing or keeping for personal use?
That's precisely what I hope to do... but I find that trying to work a full time job and still have enough time for my family, it's really difficult to transition into something that can be monetized well enough you leave my job and still be able to support my family. That's my ultimate goal... but the "getting there" and "figuring it out" parts are what's getting me. 😔 Thank you for sharing your insight and what's working for you!
I know a couple of folks they went to sailing school to work on big charter boats. Then they quietly mentioned they knew how to fish. The charter company jumped on it. Skills you need bartending and cooking. Sailing skills Fishing skills Dive skills

Hey Brant love your videos. I live in Pensacola and I'm currently very interested in starting my own Charter Business. I am still new to fishing but I know a bit. Would love to get together sometime and fish if that's possible and talk about business and just learn.
Best video. Love it. Doing the same thing with my business. Photography led to Webbuilding and SEO led to marketing for Realtors led to selling houses lol
I’m looking to take a week vacation in October. I have never salt water fished. If I’m booked with you what kind of fish would be in season in October? Thanks Rusty J

I am 13 years old, and I know few good fishing places and I need some money on gaming pc, so can I make money if I catch fish whole day and sell it to older people? How can I advertise of selling fish?
Can you talk about your boat like the year and make and all cost pertaining to it maintenance Etc. Also why you chose that boat is it versatile for inshore and offshore?
