In this tutorial I'll show you how to make Luke's Return of the Jedi Lightsaber. This lightsaber build can be very easily and inexpensively constructed with a little cardboard, craft foam, and silver foil. Had requests for this from Todd, Kristin, and Millennialzoro. This design is very similar to Obi-wan Kenobi's lightsaber (which we know was not just coincidence given the influence Obi-Wan had on Luke's Jedi life...)
I used silver adhesive foil for simplicity, but if you prefer, you can also just glue on aluminum foil or use silver paint. Though if you choose paint, be sure to give all the cardboard and craft foam a few coats of white school glue to ensure the paint looks smooth on it.
MATERIALS USED:
Cardboard tube (mine was a leftover parchment paper tube)
2mm or 3mm craft foam scraps
Scraps of 5mm craft foam
Scissors
Silver adhesive foil (amzn.to/2oy4rT9)
Hot glue gun and/or glue that will stick to metal (Power-tac: amzn.to/2ixOyvy)
Paint brush
Black, Bronze (amzn.to/2GpGMAm), Green and Red paint
Cardstock scraps
Thick wire or D ring

It doesn't cost you any extra; it's just a simple way to help support my work on this channel. (I just figured, hey, as long as I was posting the links anyway, I might as well make them affiliate links)
