How to make luxury bath bombs. Recipe included.
We make 1000's of bath bombs a year and after many recipe changes and formulations we are giving you our secret bath bomb recipe.
We want to see you all have success making bath products and the biggest issue is getting your hands on a good recipe so give this one a go.
We have used 76cm stainless steel moulds in this video from Aussie candles (links below) we will be bringing you another video of use using the bath bomb press soon.
You can change the base oils for similar (please read on for help on that)
Oil change:
This video will give you a recipe on what we use and help guide you to make a sucessful bath bomb, if you do not have the oils you can change then to a like minded oil.
What does this mean? An example is macadamia oil is like sweet almond as its a medium weight oil whereas apricot oil is a light weight oil.
The best oil is apricot kernal as it is light (if its to heavy then the bath bomb will sink and will find it hard to roll and spin.
To much coconut or shea butter will also stop the bath from from spinning due to its weight.
You can also try avocado oil if you like or hemp oil but these may darken the bath bomb.
The recipe:
1000 grams bicarbonate soda (We use USA food grade)
500 grams citric acid
70 grams epsom salts
10 grams cream of tarta
10 Grams Milk powder
10 grams SLSA
5 grams kaolin clay
1 table spoon mica
1 table spoon polysorbate 80
1 tablespoon jojoba oil
2-3 drops vitamin E oil
2 tables spoons apricot kernal oil or sweet almond oil (if its cold only add 1)
Witch hazel to spray
1-2 table spoons fragrance oil (please check guidelines in your state/country and always follow the supplier recommendations).
(Do not add water to this recipe or it may activate)

Hi Lisa. I have lots of TikTok demos but in the future I will add some. The Epsom salt is relaxing and mine are all about a luxury silky feel

Hi, I’m in Australia too! What’s the best way to store the bath bombs after together made until you’re gifting or selling them? How long can they be stored for? Also what speed do you have the mixer on? ☺️
@NelsonInteriorSoapery
@NelsonInteriorSoapery Год назад
My mixer is on medium or 2, store in a dark place away from light. They can last 6-10 months if made correctly.

If I don't have cream of tar tar cn I use arrowroot powder or cornstarch?
