I have a few in the works-probably after the holidays you’ll start to see some new ones (I’m currently in bed with a stomach bug that my kiddos passed on, hah)
Just a small silver plate that I found at a thrift store! You can use anything that is smooth, flat and non-porous. Ceramic would work as well. I also use silicone a lot now
I usually cut them about a quarter inch? It's all a guessing game! hah but you usually need two "beads" to make a 1in stamp (the extra wax is needed to push the first bead "out" of the spoon)
Oh dear! Sounds like a problem with the quality of the wax. The only time I have had wax seals break on me when trying to remove them or the stamper is when I have tried to use cheap wax or old wax. The wax brands that I use (Artisaire or Stamptitude) are flexible and strong-designed to to through the modern mail system and thus tougher!
You alternate different colored wax into the glue gun. So the first one isn’t very marbled but after that it’s a really pretty effect! You can speed up the process by (carefully!) cutting your wax sticks into smaller chunks so that you can achieve the marbled look faster
