The galette seems to have the feel of relaxed enjoyment. Not quite as fussy as a tart or pie. I think some cheese and glass of wine with it would be grand. Thanks
Substitute plums for apples and this is the only apple pie I make. Gallets are simple, rustic, and very delicious. I use Martha’s recipe for the crust everytime too.
Is it just me or is there anyone else who was really really bothered by that one plum wedge that was left stuck to the side of the bowl from which Martha transferred them to the sugar bowl???🙄😅
