He doesn't reply to comments, but if you can find any sort of stiff paper/cardstock and those little brass splitting pins you can make a paper mock-up for cheap

I didnt manage to make the same one considering the tools i had to work with but i made one with thick aluminum i will just have to reinforce it with steel if i find any to make a skeleton for it so that it doesnt get bent out of shape. But it works and i dont think that i will be able to make that grip mechanism to lock the glove so that the weapon used doesnt fall out but because its aluminum i dont think ill be making it because it might just get bent out and i cant reinforce small pieces.

before asembly, you could also use the parts as formers for kydex versions for hema . I'd buy a pair.

So what would the traditional way have been in doing the holes and bolts since I'm sure such tools wouldn't have existed, at least I'm sure the drill wound't have existed back then to make the holes.

You punch the hole with a sharp pointy punch, then use a file to remove the shard on the other side, et Voila, a hole.
