Can we substitute pentylene glycol with another humectant (such as glycerin) ? I ask this, and need your opinion about that. Bcz i used to made my own micelar water with glycerin + formula as you mentions in your video.
Would Calendula Extract or Chamomile Extract work as good replacements for the Cucumber Extract? I'm already planning on getting those for homemade soap and would like to not have a bazillion extracts on my shelf, lol.
This one is absolutely amazing! 👏 Have you thought about buying a PH Meter yet? I know how overwhelming (and pricey) it can be trying to find the right PH meter. Finding the right one, right price, then learning to use it, calibrate it, etc.... but I promise you, once you make that leap... its all smooth sailing from there. :) It brings so much more peace of mind to know the accuracy of your formulations PH. I'm most certainly not as knowledgeable and experienced as you are so far with making my own cosmetics... but I think I might be catching up! Lol. I swear... once/if you decide to get a PH meter... you won't regret it!

Hi Debra, Glycols (like Pentylene) are more powerful humectants and contains moisturising properties that work well to counteract the drying elements of cleansers. I hope that helps 😊
